Ecklonia Cava Hair Serum - Growth Volumizer for All Hair Types, Flexible-Hold Styling Gel with MSM & Biotin for Women & Men, 4oz

As a male over 60 with thinning hair I am always willing to try new products to improve the condition of the hair I have left and try to halt its thinning. This product has some ingredients that I have not tried before such as the ecklonia cava and ones that I have tried before and liked, such as lavender. I do not usually use gel on my hair, but I find that this gel serum can be applied in the morning to help tame/control my hair so that there are no bits sticking up and also after washing to nourish and keep in shape. It does not make my hair stiff or sticky, so I am happy with the results. The fact that it is not strongly scented is also a plus. I like the method of application as it allows me at a twist of the top to obtain the amount that I need quickly and accurately. The plastic bottle is lightweight and transports in my gym bag well. It is too early to be able to say that it has enhanced my hair growth, but my hair is looking in good condition and is held in shape well.

Cela fait deux semaines que j’utilise ce produit et franchement je lui donne la note de 10 sur 10 tellement il est efficace sur moi . Ce n’est pas un gel , c’est un sérum liquide, fluide , pas du tout pâteux et qui sent très bon . Il a complètement enrayé ma chute de cheveux . J’ai retrouvé mon volume avec une immense joie . Je commence à constater des baby hairs qui repoussent . Mes boucles sont beaucoup plus rebondies . Je pense que j’ai trouvé mon sauveur et je le recommanderais sans hésitation .

This serum is very light, it has a watery texture and only a few drops are needed. It doesn't weigh down my hair or feel crunchy. It doesn't really feel like I have anything in except the scent of the essential oils. It has lavender, patchouli and ylang ylang that I can detect, but wearing it smells similar to rosemary. The hold is light, it can help with a part, but it's not taming a wild cowlick. I like very light to no product in my hair and I like the scent, so I will definitely continue using it. If I notice any long term effects or new observations, I'll update this review.

More a liquid than a gel but easy to apply, takes a while to soak in though and leaves a bit of a greasy feel so I started ro use at night. The smell is typical of these oils, a pleasant essential oil type smell which isn't overpowering. I can't tell of hair growth yet but that would take a few months but it has all the right ingredients so won't harm
