It’s made to be a topping on other cat food. I initially did that putting this on dry kibble, but now I split the package into four servings morning and another pouch at night (for 4 kitties) and put kibble in separate bowls.

do you make wet cat food in gravy rather than pate? I have one cat that only eats wet but the topper isn't fully nutritious on its own.

No, it is so loose that I don't need to. I do add a wee bit of water to my girl cats food though.
