It has a lot of options but the larger bottles are difficult or have to be done another way, like the old way and you am disappointed by that.

I had a jar/bottle opener just like this for about 12 years. A few weeks ago it cracked trying to open something very cold. I have been lost without it. I of course, thought of Amazon and a new one was delivered in 2 days. This opener will open any top of almost any size. My arthritic hands are saved again.

I needed something that would hold the jar part of a quart size canning jar so I don't strain and reinjure my bad left thumb, but it's not even close to big enough. It does hold the pepper grinder, which was also sometimes a problem; it's stiff to get on and off that, so we leave it on all time time and it's big and awkward... so it's in use but not very successful.The little bottle opener thingy, well we have lots of gizmos around already, so that was a waste of plastic.

Both of these together are great. Sometimes, Seltzer water bottles come from the factory SUPER tight. Either one of these is great for helping with that problem. Easy to use, and it makes a opening a tough bottle much easier. Would definitely get this for someone--age not being a factor. Sometimes, you just never know there is a better way until someone gives you the gift. =)

I used the product to open lid of fruit jar. This jar was used as bee feeder. They are difficult to open, which is the reason I needed the opener, but it broke with first time to use it.

I like that it has multiple sizes and is made well. I have hand and wrist issues, so this is a good thing to have around.
