Q: Does this come with a 2 year warranty? For this price, the Penguin website offers a 2 year warranty.

Amazon orders come with a 1yr warranty. We only offer extended warranties through our website.

Q: Is this quiet enough to run in a residence or is it better suited for garage / industrial use?

While the chiller does produce some noise, it's quiet enough to use indoors. Our water chillers (same sound level) are often run in living/family rooms on fish tanks. Some customers have even reported use in bedrooms, but I personally would find it to be a little too loud for that.
