Great business phone
I have always been fascinated by BlackBerry during its heydays, though I never had the opportunity to own one. So when BlackBerry Key2 was globally launched, I was following the events closely, and placed order as soon as the phone was launched in Amazon on 31st July. I have been using the phone for less than 1 week, and my observations are given below :-What is good about the phone?1. This is a carpet to carpet business phone. If you are using it for business usage, you will love it2. Excellent battery life. With Jio data on all the time, checking & writing mails, and moderate to heavy phone calls, my phone's battery lasts at least 2 days3. Security features are the best, which is why it is a BlackBerry4. The BlackBerry Hub is where you can see all your mails (and even Whatsapp). I think no app comes even close to it5. The keyboard is absolutely great. The shortcut key and convenience key opens up enormous possibilities of using shortcuts to apps etc.6. The physical appearance is great and will stand out in the crowd. It is a head turner7. The fingerprint sensor which is the spacebar works great. I did not have any hits & misses so far. Mind you, I face this problem regularly in my S8+8. The entire keyboard acts like a giant trackpad which you can use to navigate up or down, right or left, without having to touch the screenWhat is not so good about the phone?1. Mediocre camera performance2. Processor is decent but not super fast, as you will find in some of the flagship phones3. The screen can be inhibitive for multimedia viewing and social media usage4. The phone does not have water resistance certification & probably this is not possible since it has a physical keyboard. So one should be careful that no water is splashed on the phone or about using it in the rain5. Lack of availability of quality accessoriesAs I said, I am using the phone exclusively for business use, and I find it amazing. In fact, I have installed only 2 additional apps - Whatsapp & Linkedin for business purpose. The appeal of the phone lies in its usage. So if you buy this phone as a productivity booster for your business purpose, you will love it. On the other hand, if you plan to view multimedia through social media apps, this phone is not for you. You would also need to have a fascination for physical keyboard (and not think of it as cumbersome) to like this phone. I belong to the old school, and the initial USP for buying this phone was the physical keyboard on the latest Android platform.I also did some homework on the availability of BlackBerry authroised service centers (for peace of mind), and they do exist. For example, I came across 2 in Kolkata, where I live. I am sure that in happening cities, there will be more. Providing below some useful coordinates for prospective buyers of this phone - Blackberry India website : blackberrymobile.in (here you can look up for BlackBerry authorised service centers in your city). Toll free number for BlackBerry India : 18004192556. Trust me, I found the helpdesk to be extremely cooperative & helpful.

Under rated ,it's an excellent product, worth every rupee
Many people don't know about this phone, so no one told about this, and Shops are not selling so they don't advertise as they don't get commission. This is an excellent phone with everything , it's premium, camera is excellent with natural colours, no fake mask like faces, colour saturation is super, screen resolution is perfect, smooth, fast , accurate, keyboard is durable and stylish rugged, can trust . Security is the top notch. Battery 2 days is easy.I used NOTE 9 Samsung. And used many of Samsung and i phones. I phones are expensive. Samsung only top phones are ok , other models something is compromised. And even new design of Samsung curved screens looks nice. But trust me everyone is scared to drop and break their screens. Durability of Samsung screen is less. Can't Fix screen guard or tempered glass protector , I am always worried of breaking my screen till it broke.Screen quality is good. No stress to eyes, I found Samsung screens gives headache after using for a while. Size is good enough to do everything. Watching videos also nice. Earphones provided is also good. Now I am typing all this on my key2 I feel so simple and easy Infact enjoying the feel of technology.BlackBerry organiser features are super. Finally this is best phone under-rated and not advertised. Worth it.. I used all the high end phones in all the brands , I can show the greatness of this phone if you have doubt ..........Dr. Jagadish , HYDERABAD

(UPDATED 2) Don't waste your money on this phone.
UPDATE 2:Got a replacement. Even the new device has the same problems. These problems were there even in KEYone as described on CrackBerry forums. Pathetic.I bought this phone on its day of release. It has many problems:1. Calls will go on speakerphone without touching anything. If it goes into speakerphone mode, the speakerphone toggle will keep on showing speakerphone as inactive. So, to resolve this, whenever this happens, you will have to touch the speakerphone toggle twice to disable it.2. Similar issue with mic. While on call, after sometime, randomly a sound will come and mic will go on mute.I have requested Amazon for a replacement hoping that these problems are there only in my piece. However, you do not expect such issues in a 42k+ phone.Read below for the detailed review:Pros:1. Keyboard - very easy to type - suited for people who do a lot of typing on their phone.2. Great battery life.3. Premium build.4. Keyboard shortcuts and convenience key.5. Security6. Good sound quality.Cons:1. Software feels sluggish sometimes. At this price point, Snapdragon 845 should have been provided.2. Pathetic screen quality - very low brightness and erratic touch sensitivity.3. Too many software flaws.4. Fast charging is not as fast as some Samsung devices.5. Pathetic camera quality.6. Back panel has some flex. Not at all acceptable in a 42k+ phone.7. It has 6GB ram but most of the time it shows 85% full. I am not sure why. I do not run many apps.

Great phone
I love this phone. It's not as amazing as the Blackberries of old, but it's way better than non-Blackberry phones. I've tried IPhones and a Pixel and am just so happy to have a Blackberry again.
