I volunteer at a dog rescue shelter and have used these sleeve protectors since I received them. They are easy to get on and off and provide excellent protection . Several other volunteers have since purchased them and luv them. Good also for trimming roses and doing gardening to prevent injuries or skin abrasions , etc.

As described a little big for my arms but good material and it stays cool!

I use them when trimming trees. Many of my desert trees have thorns. These sleeves help to keep all kinds of sharps and slaps away from your skin. Easy to put on/take off and does not restrict movements. Works with gloves worn over them too!

Overall the sleeve worked fine as protection, but it was too long for my arm. The elastic was too tight to stop at my elbow. It was restricting so I had to fold the edge over. Strangely the palm portion was too loose, wrinkling by the thumb hole.

I returned these without trying to see if they work. I did not like the fit. Unlike the advertised picture (which appears to be female arms) they do not fit snugly. They are 5" wide all the way from the top to bottom except where they gather at the elastic.

I used to brush out some matting from my cat. He bit right through. Better for gardening i believe.

The skin on my arms it very thin (old age + sun damage) and it doesn't take much of a bump to tear it. This became a real issue while working on cars and around the house. Looking online, I found that there were sleeves that are used for protection. I initially tried sleeves that were not slash resistant,(made out of thick cloth) but they were very hot, and did not clean up well when washed. I then tried these and they are just what I needed. They offer great protection against tearing my skin although they do not protect against bruising. This is not an issue for me since something that did would most likely be too cumbersome to use.They are breathable, and this makes them cooler when used during the summer. A plus is that they clean up well. I use them while working on my car and get grease and grime on them all the time. I have found that hand washing them with a little soap works well.I rated them down in comfort because they sometimes irritate the area between the thumb and pointer finger. Also, I didn't rate them at all for warmth because that is not how I use them.I rated them 5 stars since I could not give 4.5.Jerry

Great product, used it straight from packaging, glad I bought 2.

The product was exactly what I expected and fit perfectly; snug but not too tight and do come up well over the elbow (I am an average size female). I will be using with similar gloves, for animal handling purposes. Don’t expect them to be hard bite resistant but believe they will protect from light bites and scratches.

General building and gardening, especially cutting roses. The protectors are warm to wear, but small price to pay.
