This MealCake works great on Catfish and Carp
I bought this product after searching everywhere for meal cake like my dad used to use ages ago. This meal cake is hard as a rock and authentic. Used a table saw to cut 2"x2" blocks and a drill to make a hole in the center of each to hang on a trot line. Took fishing with me this summer and caught catfish and carp using this meal cake. The pieces held together in the water very well for 24+ hours. At the end of the trip, I took the bait out of the water, allowed it to dry in the sun, and re-used it on the next trip. Would recommend.

cotton seed cake?
not like the cotton seed cake of old. I used to buy cottonseed at fishing stores but can't find it anymore. Thought I would give this a try. As far as I'm concerned this is crap made up of bird seed and cotton tips off of cotton swabs. nothing like the cotton seed of old.
