I bought this to replace another 30 foot cable that I had been using for a few years on an original xbox one. I dont know if this one or the old cable were rated for in wall use ot not but I used both that way anyway and had no issues.I ran it in a wall and across my attic and back down a wall to get to a TV mounted over the fireplace.The old cable worked fine for years and I still have a couple others just like it that are in use for 1080p sources. But when i upgraded to 4k for an xbox one x and 4k TV the cable dropped signal immediately and would only flash an image at best before dying. I bought a signal booster and put it on the end of the old cable and voila it worked! Well sort of. I would have to occasionally plug and unplug the power to the booster and it would usually work after one or two tries then it was fine until everything was shut down again and we repeated the process.About 6 months later, I began having increasingly frequent video and audio total dropouts using my old setup, including ones where it would come back fine on it's own after a few seconds, sometimes needed multiple manual resets at the booster like I had done before, and even times where it would display all kinds of funny colors but not a proper image.So I began my search again for a better cable. I had searched before and settled on the booster because it was easier than the total rerun through the wall. This time i actually ordered a monoprice active cabernet series cable before reading this reviews because it was supposed to be the best. Then i read some more reviews and people with similar setups to mine were reporting less than stellar results. Cancelled order and set out to search agian.That's when I found this cable. The reviews were all positive but none specifically named an xbox one let alone an xbox one x. I did find one review here that said it worked great for a ps4 pro. I had reservations because all of my research had led me to believe that an active cable would be more than likely a necessity. This cable IS NOT an active cable.I took the plunge anyhow because of all the positive reviews. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. I initially ran it 5hrough the wall and used my signal booster on it just as I had before with my old cable and all worked well, but I did notice some temporary delays when I would switch apps or when a particularly dark loading screen would come on I would lose signal before it returned on it's own. So just for testing purposes, I removed the booster. REMOVING THE BOOSTER SOLVED IT.The booster worked well but it would think that the signal was lost because it struggled with dark screens and therefore it would not allow the signal to pass through to the TV. I want to emphasize that this is a very different problem than I had with the old cable. The old cable would not display properly at all without the booster. The new cable worked okay with the booster but once I removed the booster, the cable has functioned exactly as intended for a couple weeks without a single dropout. I had gotten so used to fighting with my setup when I turned it on that it was almost stressful everytime I had to hope and pray it would work. Now it feels strange to just have everything work as it is supposed to with no fight at all.Bottom line, this cable delivers on all of its promises,, appears well built with good materials, and will run a full 4k signal from a xbox one x, through 30 feet of cable, to a 4k TV with no trouble. There will be no greater stress test for this particular cable. You should buy it.

Nice cable...no connection issues. Has been working well. This has been a dependable cable and has been working well with no connection issues. Has been very stable and reliable.

I would recommend it to friends and family especially if you have an Xbox that you want to play or anything with an HDMI there's cord is the rest of us almost 3 years now and it's not even event or tear or anything on it

I purchased this product because the Apple TV 4K unit that was hooked up to my Vizio 70" TV started having issues. I'm not a person that believes in cable hype and the need to buy a $30 or videophile silver wire interconnect to get rid of signal jitter, bur from my internet research, I knew from the moment I purchased the Apple TV 4K that it was very finicky with the cable used to connect it. The HDMI cable that I used from my rat nest cable box didn't work at all, but I had purchased an AmazonBasics cable that was known to work. It worked fine for 6 months, but recently I started having the Apple TV box go black or show a "HDCP violation" error message, so I decide to upgrade the cable again with this one.Plugging it in, it worked much better, no issues so far. The cable feels very high quality. The only reason why I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars is that the plug head is very long, and in junction with the increased thickness of the cable, it needs a lot of space to plug it in. This isn't any issues with many devices, but with the Vizio 70" TV, all the HDMI interfaces are located in a recessed cavity on the back of the TV. Because of the excessive length of the plug head, the cable is torqued out of the recess and I am concerned long term the HDMI port on the TV may be damaged from the strain being applied by the cable.

I’m using this beauty tied to a USB C “multi-port” Hub, that’s connected to my 2018 12.9” iPad Pro. I’ve then connected this HDMI Cable to the ARC port of my 75” Samsung 7 series 4K TV. Even though the home screen of the iPad does not take up the full size of the 75” screen, it’s plenty big enough,& goes into full screen mode when I begin a movie, YouTube etc. I think the semi smaller Home Screen may be a limit of the usb c adaptor that I’ve got. But now, I can do everything I could imagine from my iPad on my 75” TV, whilst also using my Apple Magic Keyboard 2,& (most importantly) the Apple Magic Trackpad 2, along with an adjustable “bed desk” from Saiji (if I’m reading it correctly), and I can state with 100% certainty that I have created the “Ultimate Lazy Bastard Setup”, as I don’t need to do a thing in order to seamlessly watch shows on Netflix & in real 4K ( not the falsely labeled 4K that the 4K Fire Cube supposedly creates; which isn’t 4K at all).I’m completely shocked how much better the picture on my Samsung TV really is when I’m watching anything using this cable, & watching shows via Netflix, Hulu,& all the semi-illegal “new movie”& just aired TV show web sites that I tend to steam works seamlessly. So much better than my (unlocked) Amazon 4K Fire TV Cube. I keep having buffering issues on the Fire TV Cube, & it’s not my 300mb/s WiFi speed it’s registering, or anything speed related, but it feels like the Cube is purposefully throttling me,& it’s actually now freezing random Netflix shows to the point that I have to turn the device off & back on again. I am at the point of making that fire Cube “learn to fly” from my 4th story window, as I’m sickened by its constant buffering, freezing,& issue.NOW that I’m hardwired to my iPad & can easily do all I wish with it,& haven’t had 1 buffering issue (as my iPad has WiFi speeds at 594mp/s & somehow is WAY faster than the 4K Amazon Cube.I can also say that the picture quality in just watching random crap like the news, or a random show on Hulu is 30-40% better via the iPad to dongle, to THIS HDMI CABLE, to the TV. I now have zero issues with buffering, freezing 4K Cubes,& now have an unreal picture that I’ve not even seen watching multiple Blu Ray Discs with this TV.Long story short, this cable is perfection,& it also looks pretty cool to boot. Couldn’t be happier,& now I plan to see how far Amazon 4K Fire Cube can “fly”. As I’m sick of that POS,& the non stop issues. Nothing worse than being super into anything that one is binge watching for 16 hours,& every 12 seconds they keep having to press play to over ride the buffering, & do that just to get the darn thing playing again. Ok enough of my “Novella”. Buy This!!Cheers!!

i got a new gaming monitor but was using a random HDMI cable from a couple years ago and i ordered this the same day i got my monitor. At first, i was surprised at the great build quality; very thick cable and the ports are metal and the overall build feels very durable and feels like it will last a long time. I was even more surprised at the video quality. I thought all HDMI cables were the same but the technology has really come a long way. The colours and image quality was very noticeable compared to an HDMI from a couple years ago.
