Having two new sunrooms with floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides makes you rethink how you place speakers and wire/power them. With these great shelves and Amazon Echos, (and a little pre-planning with our electricians) produced a simple almost wire-free installation. The shelves were easy to locate in the correct spots and using the bases as drilling templates worked well. Being able to hide the LONG Echo power cords by wrapping around the base into a recessed space made them almost invisible yet still easy to access. The shelves are about 7 feet above the hardwood floor which is free and clear from sound dampening furniture...voice control also works better for the same reason. Now if we could get Amazon to give us a choice of COLOR for power cords! I think I can sleeve the black cord with a white cable cover and do something similar for the AC adapter. The shelves really did the trick! No space is taken up on tables and messy wires are out of sight...a great design!

There aren't that many reviews on this product. The same stand is sold by other sellers with a low number of reviews. It's not proprietary to one seller.I bought this to wall mount an Echo Dot Gen 3. The stand is rated for 15 lbs. Why? None of the uses shown in the photos are for devices that heavy and I really do not see anyone putting a 15 lb device on this small stand. With that, I think requiring 3 mounting screws is excessive for this stand. They're also in a weird spot and two smaller mounting screws could have been put on the sides for the same result and same weight capacity. With that, it would have been faster and easier to install.The stand wedges into the mount. It's a snug fit. It also requires 3 screws to hold it in place. Why? Excessive and overkill. One screw would easily hold this into place indefinitely.For me, this was an easily install job, but not everyone is that experienced with hangars. In the instructions, adding a simple line to drill a 3/16" hole for the hangars would be helpful to some.It would also have been a nice option to have an optional punch out hole for the wire going to the device. There's a dimple in the screw mounting area that didn't make sense to me why it is there. I use it. I drilled it out to accommodate the the plug coming to the device. It's not in the photo, but you can trim and still use the rubber grommet to cover the mounting holes. To me, it looks better and easier than have wires coming out in two different locations on the sides.Again, it's a nice stand, but it's all plastic with some screws. I think the price is too high for what you get. If you look around, I am sure you can find plenty of similar stands in the big box home improvement stores cheaper.

I love these shelves. These are a wonderful price for such excellent quality. I was amazed at how great they really stick and are so sturdy. They are high quality plastic, really look classy.

I really like this shelf. Using in for my Dot in the bathroom so I don't have to put the Dot on the sink. Sturdy, easy to install. You can hide the cord in the back of the shelf. May be purchasing a couple more of these.

Like it alot just wish it was cheaper. But other that its great.
