Great patterns for 18" dolls. I only wish the patterns were not on both sides of the pattern paper. It would be much easier to copy the patterns when needed if they were on one side of the pattern sheet.

I absolutely love this book! I’ve made three dresses from it so far and all have turned out beautiful. I love mixing sleeves, bodices, and skirts from different patterns throughout the book, as well as adding my own flourishes. The author leaves plenty of room for that kind of experimentation, which I adore. Shown here is AG Felicity in a dress I made to mimic her original meet dress, since I bought her second hand and she arrived without one. I copied the skirt pattern from the Country Cottage Dresses (23) onto freezer paper and added 2” to the hem, if anyone familiar with this book is wondering why the skirt is so long. I consider myself to be a self-taught intermediate-level sewer, and I find the instructions clear and easy to follow. I’ll definitely be buying the author’s other book!

This is my second book by this author and I am satisfied with my purchase even though the book was not discounted at all. It's hard to find doll pattern books locally in the bookstores so I had to order online. This author provides quality product for the price and I recommend this book as an alternative to the downloadable pdfs that is the norm now. Even the commercial pattern companies are cutting back on doll clothes patterns so this book fills niche.

Patterns are included both online and as a paper pull out. I printed mine out and left the pattern sheet intact. There are so many ways to mix and match dress details! I love looking at the pictures for inspiration.

I have been waiting a year for this new book to come out. Her books are always very detailed instruction wise and with this book you have the option of printing out the pattern pieces if you don't want to trace them though printed patterns are included. I like her books because she gives lots of basic sewing information on harder techniques at the beginning of the book. 40 gorgeous pieces to sew and gift. At the back of the book there are links to her Facebook group and blog so you can get help and show off your creations. Great book ! The picture above is one of her dresses from her Doll Days book lots of detail in her designs. I will post a picture out of this book as soon as I get downstairs to make one.

This is a great book for the seamstress who likes to sew doll dresses! It starts out giving basic instructions for sewing the dresses followed by more in depth instructions for each individual dress. I wanted to add sleeves to one of the sleeveless dresses and contacted the author to find out if I could mix and match patterns. She was quick to answer and very helpful. She said that since they were doll dresses that I could add sleeves to a sleeveless dress. I did, and love the outcome. So, this is an extremely versatile book with lots of options. It also contains the patterns for the dresses! It's great for the beginner to the advanced seamstress. At the price, you can't go wrong!

Wow! I have made several dresses in this book. The directions are easy to follow & the author gives many ideas for embellishments. Best of all, everything I have made has fit wonderfully. I plan on purchasing another of her books as soon as I work through this one.

Lots of patterns but only dresses. Most have to be adjusted to fit my American girl doll. The fit is too snug.

Clear instructions and great photos to follow. Great basic patterns to begin a doll wardrobe.

Perfect. I am going to enjoy sewing these outfits. Books was well packaged and in mint condition. O have 2 lovely grand daughters wbo are going to enjoy there dolls and outfits.

Full instructions & pattern pieces are included to sew complete dolly wardrobe. Can't wait to start sewing outfits for my granddaughter's 18" doll collection.
