Low carb noodles/rice/spaghetti
I read on here that some people say there is a smell with some of these konjac noodles, I've used the bare naked make and these, no smell at all. These are versatile and work with everything I've used them for, rinse liquid away and add to stew, curry, spag bol etc... Will be buying again, i pay £2 a piece in the High St stores, so this offer of 6 for £9.99 is great and I don't have to worry if they have none in the shops, as they sell out so quick. Recommended.

Brilliant!!
I lived in Japan for 9 years and have often eaten konnyaku so was expecting a smell with these. I got none at all even when I opened the packet. I gave them a rinse and dried them in a frying pan over a low heat. They had the usual konnyaku slightly rubbery texture, but when I had them with my meal (thai green curry) I really couldn't tell much difference between regular rice. The serving size was perfect for me too, you could probably share them between 2 people and still have enough. All in all I would recommend them to anyone on a low carb plan. I'll be also trying the shirataki noodles and "spaghetti".

One of the nicest out of the ones I tried
Strange texture but they all do. Smell strong when open packet at times but just rinse well a few times when cooked you won’t smell it/ taste it

Glutenous texture
Good value for money, low in calories and easy to cook with. The texture is glutenous so the rice blends into the sauce to make a sticky gloop. For this reason I won't give a full 5/5 star rating as there are better brands. That saying I would definitely buy this product again as the major features are price, tastes the same as other brands and delivery is prompt. If you're trying to change the way you eat and want to lose weight, this product is great as you can 'spend' calories on a great tasting sauce. Rather than waste calories on the bland tasting, higher carbohydrate traditional rice accompaniment

Like eating rubber but nearly 0 calories
Rubbery texture but if you want to lose weight you'll get used to it, a bit expensive compared to some brands but those other brands the rice stinks of rotten fish and needs a lot of rinsing to get rid of the smell, absolutely no smell at all with these, worth the extra cash.

Rice looking noodles.
I used them for losing weight as they are low in carb but they are as tasteless as the rice were. Expensive, waste of money.

Perfect rice/risotto replacement
I snipped open the packet expecting the usual pungent smell (which usually puts me straight off my food!) but there was no odour at all!I rinsed them, boiled them for 7 mins and then fried them for about 5 minutes before adding anything to it. They still aren't exactly like rice but a damn good replacement and I wasn't struggling to eat the dish as I normally do with other brands of Shirataki rice.Super happy with these and will be ordering a monthly supply of these!

Versatile product I enjoy using in a keto/low carb diet
I have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.I had tried konjac noodles in the past and so I decided to incorporate them more often into my new keto/low carb diet as they are for me a good way to keep eating the recipes I enjoy without taking in unnecessary carbohydrates and calories. The pictures show a kedgeree I made using the rice style and a Chinese meal I made using the noodle style.I find the rice style is more like tapioca pudding than rice but I enjoy it as it is. I also make a very nice dessert using the rice style using cream and nutmeg and sweetener and vanilla.Today I made a lovely creamy savoury garlic and cauliflower meal using Greek yoghurt, extra thick cream, dill, garlic, cauliflower florets, Jarlsberg cheese and udon style noodles. It doesn't feel like a diet at all. I think I prefer the konjac versions to the originals.I always wash the noodles thoroughly under the tap before soaking them in boiling water for a while and then draining them and allowing them to drip dry, then adding them to the sauce and stirring it in. The noodles carry the sauces well and I am very happy with them.
