Gaahleri Airbrush Double Action Premium Series Mobius 02 (Self-Centering Insertion Nozzle Structure) Nozzle Diameter 0.2mm for Model Painting and Drawing

I’ve gone through my fair share of airbrushes over the years. Right now, my trusty Evolution and a Creos Procon are doing the bulk of the work, though the Procon’s been showing its age lately. Hunting for a new fine-detail brush, I came across the Mobius. Its nozzle design was intriguing enough to tempt me, so I took the plunge. One of the first things you notice with the Mobius is how it feels in your hand—balanced and light enough that your fingers don’t start a union after an hour. That’s critical when you’re hunched over a miniature or painstakingly shading a scale model’s panel lines. There are many control options as well: Spring strength, paint flow, air pressure. Love it. The 0.2mm size means this brush was built for detail—razor-thin lines, soft gradients, and the kind of precision that makes painting eyes on miniatures or nailing fine weathering effects feel not just possible but actually enjoyable. It’s got the finesse for freehand work and stenciling too, if that’s your thing. Compared to some higher-end brushes (looking at you, Iwata), the Mobius holds its own surprisingly well. Paint flow is consistent, provided you thin your paints properly (as always—there’s no magic brush that saves you from that). Whether you’re glazing, blending, or just trying to avoid splattering paint all over your carefully built model, the Mobius handles it with grace. The air nozzle itself needs some mention. With six, crooked grooves down its side air is fed to the paint through 360 degrees, not just in a single point. I’m not sure if they really is as good as the blurb spouts, but side-by-side tests so far have produced more consistent lines from the Mobius. If you’re new to airbrushing, the Mobius is pretty forgiving once you get a feel for it. The double-action trigger is sensitive, but in a good way—it gives you a lot of control. Just expect a bit of a learning curve if you’re transitioning from single-action or less responsive brushes. Cleaning, thankfully, is straightforward. The parts come apart easily, making it simple to clean out dried paint and keep things running smoothly. The only real caution here is the nozzle—it’s a delicate little thing (as all 0.2mm nozzles are), so don’t go poking it with a needle unless you’re ready to shop for a replacement. Drawbacks: Not Without Its Quirks No tool is perfect, and the Mobius has a few quirks to keep in mind. The paint cup is on the smaller side—not a huge deal for detail work, but you might find yourself refilling more often than you’d like. And speaking of that nozzle: while it’s a marvel of engineering, it’s also fragile. Mishandling it during cleaning is an expensive mistake waiting to happen. Another potential snag is the availability of spare parts. Depending on where you live, getting replacements for the needle or nozzle might be a bit of a treasure hunt. If you’re planning on using this airbrush heavily, that’s worth considering. So, Is It Worth It? If precision is what you’re after, the Mobius is a solid contender. It’s great for miniature painters, scale modelers, and anyone else who needs a fine-detail brush that doesn’t cost as much as a small country’s GDP. Sure, it requires a bit of TLC, but that’s par for the course with any airbrush in this league.

繊細で取り扱いやすい良いairbrushです。 インフィニティーを永年使ってきましたが 流石にOリングがへたってきて購入しました。 主にラッカー系塗料を使っていましが、ニードルへの塗料の付着も起きにくく、テンポ良く作業できています。針カバーの形状も良く洗浄時のうがいも手軽にできています。しかもインフィニティーよりも安い。デザインも秀逸！一度使うと手放せません。

0.3と同時に購入したが0.2も大変使いやすく満足しています。 べた塗りも普通にこなせるし、独自のノズル形状のおかげかしっかりと噴霧されます。 静音重視などの理由で非力なコンプレッサーを使ってる方は一度使ってみてほしい。 かなり塗りやすく感じるはずです。 海外製のハンドピースは品質に当たり外れがあるかもしれませんが何も問題はありませんでした。

掃除は楽に。うがいの回数が減るのでツールクリーナー節約になります。 以前使っていた他社のハンドピースより重たいです。

特に塗料が詰まったりすることもなく使用できてあり、現状は満足しています。

高級感があり、良いのだが、カップの蓋が合わずゆるゆるで落ちる。最初、エアーのボタンを押したら戻らずに 一度、分解調整して何とかなったが、はずれなのか、使用は出来るようになった。 その他は洗いやすいし、エアーの出もいいしバランスも悪くない。細引き用に買ったのと、蓋は使わず無くさなければ いいのだが、少し残念である。

Excellent Aérographe. Très bonne prise en main, notice explicative détaillée en français. Possibilité de trouver tous les éléments et des joints sont déjà fournis pour l’entretien à moyen-long terme. Très bon rapport qualité prix !

Ho anche un Infinity harder&Steenbeck 0,15 che mi ha sempre creato fin da subito problemi. Entrambi hanno un nozzle molto simile, ma devo dire che questo aerografo, nell'insieme, funziona molto meglio e a cento euro in meno!!!

I paid $84 for the Gaahaleri mobius 0.2 and did not know what to expect. Gaahaleri claims this airbrush allows adjustment of airflow and main lever, and that is a premium airbrush. 0.2 sounds too small, and often has problems with consistency, unless you are shooting ink. Out of the box it looks like an Iwata Eclipse, but w/ a knob for airflow adjustment and a removable cup. Before I tested it, I ran my Iwata Eclipse for an hour doing mixed work on miniatures. The Iwata Eclipse is a great airbrush, for $170. I then ran the Gaahaleri mobius 0.2 for about 4 hours straight, applying the base colors to a tray of minis. I had to play around a little with the main lever and airflow knobs, but found a good spot and carried on. Nice to be allowed control of airflow and lever. The result was good, frustration free, airbrushing. The trigger was smooth, and the brush consistent throughout the session. I was surprised how well it performed and found that very little cleaning was needed. During the four hours I only did basic cleaning between color refills and swaps. I had no problems with clogging (used pro acrylics, molotow, and Vallejo), and the 0.2 nozzle worked surprisingly well. This brush performs shamelessly well for a $84 airbrush, and I wonder if this is Gaahaleri quietly establishing themselves as one of the topdogs? The Iwata Eclipse is a great airbrush but at twice the price. Gaahaleri is a great airbrush at half the price. Gaahaleri indeed delivered a premium airbrush, a great one at that, with hassle free airflow and main lever adjustment knobs. This is a five star review. Price to performance this may be the best airbrush you can get at the moment. Get one while you still can.

Une excellente alternative à H&S. Très bon rapport qualité prix et prix des pièces détachées. Le réglage du débit d'air sur l'aérographe est extrêmement pratique.
