Cleans hard water spots!
We had tried numerous products to remove half water stains from our windows. Nothing worked until we found sparkle. I ordered more bottles. I don't ever want to run out!

Best old glass cleaner ever
Removes 100 years of buildup and etching on old windows. Rub it all over then wait for it to dry (5-10 min) before wiping off. It should turn to fine white powder when removed. If you don’t wait for it to dry it doesn’t work!

Totally awesome product for windows
This is a totally awesome product! I live in the country, where hard water deposits from sprinkler overspray have wreaked havoc with my windows. After trying just about every home remedy known to the internet, I came across a piece of advice that was worth its weight in gold: Buy a bottle of CLR!I'm here to tell you that this stuff really works! It took a couple of applications to cut through 10 years of hard water marks, but my windows look spotless for the first time in years. I was so impressed that I proceeded to do all of the windows in my home--a task that I ordinarily avoid like the plague because I'm never happy with the hazy, streaky result. And once again this product did not disappoint. For the first time in many decades of window washing, I have glimmering, streak-free windows, and with a minimum of effort.Notably, this product is not like any other window washing product you may have used with a squeegee or with a spray bottle and a roll of paper towels. It is a thick lotion that goes on like a liquid car wax. You apply it with a damp cloth or paper towel, let it dry, then wipe off the residue with a buffing motion. The process is really very much like applying wax to a car, but much more quickly and with way less effort. And the shine--oh my goodness! I really cannot say enough good things about this product, which has taken the angst (and the failure) out of window washing for me. I'm anxious to see what it does on my bathroom mirrors.I should mention that I'm a real Amazon curmudgeon who rarely gives rave reviews. But this product has truly earned one.

Use glass cooktop cleaner On your shower glass doors instead!
If you use it on shower glass as directed it will not work! My shower glass is only one year old and it was barely stained with hard water stains. I just wanted to clean them to stay on top before it gets too bad. When I followed instructions, rubbed it on and let it dry and wiped off with a dry cloth it didn’t work at all! Then I tried using a damp cellulose sponge, and applied product on, and rubbed it on and really really scrubbed it, that worked! I am sure this product is same thing as what we all use to clean our glass cooktops. So i used the same concept for cleaning shower glass. I rubbed/scrubbed with a cellulose sponge while product was still creamy, as if I was scrubbing a baked on dirt on my stove top. It required lots and lots of elbow grease, and only removed about 95% of hard water stains that were barely noticeable anyway. I haven’t tried it, but i am sure if you do that with glass cooktop cleaner, you will achieve the same result for less money spent.

Recommended by Marvin Windows
I just had some Marvin windows installed. They were covered with a bunch of manufacturer's stickers. On removal, they left a foggy residue that would not come off with ordinary window sprays, or even WD40. I called the customer support line for Marvin, and they recommended this product. It goes on like a liquid polish. Wiped it off and the fog was gone.

Wishful Thinking
I bought this product to use on clear antique glass. The interior is cloudy and none of the home suggested remedies worked. Unfortunately, neither did this product. It made absolutely no improvement. Maybe it works for some, but it was a total failure for me.

does not remove glass etching from dishwasher
watched lots of reviews saying this can remove etching on glasses. It did not at all. I am not sure if it works for other purposes.

Works great for removing hard water stains on glasses
I bought some beautiful, deep blue glasses at a consignment shop but upon examining them more closely at home, I found half of them had quite significant hard water stains that scrubbing was not affecting even slightly. I searched around and tried the recommendations I found online to use diluted vinegar, and that helped a bit on some glasses; on others, it barely made a dent. That sent me in search of the next option, and searching brought me to CLR. I gave all the glasses a hearty scrub inside and out with CLR using just a few folded paper towels, and they came out absolutely sparkling, with the haze and iridescent cloudy patterns completely gone. It was a very satisfying task that did exactly what I needed. Perfect for my needs.
