I was always a fan boy of Cambridge Soundworks and I blindly took a chance at buying this speaker. I was reluctant initially but looking at the disastrous experiences I had with cheaper bluetooth speakers, I just went by my gut feeling. And I wasn't disappointed; rather I was blown away by the overall clean sounds this little well-bodied gadget produced. It produces an overall full bodied sound that is loud enough, easy on ears and sounds delightful even for an audiophile. PROS: 1-Clean and clear sounding with almost negligible distortion at the top volume. Amazing mids & highs. If you are an audiophile, you'd definitely appreciate this (Guess almost everything that comes out of Cambridge Soundworks). 2-Brilliant battery life - Just after unpacking, I played it for more than a day, on & off, without even charging. Just charge and forget it; it lasts. I could even figure out battery levels on my iPhone, which I feel is awesome. 3-Bluetooth pairing - It is easy breezy & never gives up. It's simple & automatically re-pairs without any issues. 3-Angular design - It can be placed horizontally and vertically anywhere. Easy to switch ON/OFF as well. The materials used are of great quality and doesn't feel tacky at all. Looks elegant and doesn't interfere in the aesthetics of the interiors as well. No flashy lights makes it clean-minimal design. CONS: 1-The bass isn't great but is definitely clean. Anyway, I've not come across any mini speaker with great bass (in my limited exposure). So personally, not asking for something big in this range. 2-It's a tad expensive in spec-to-spec comparisons (thanks to the import duties), but considering the sounds it produces, it's forgivable in the long run. Overall, I am sorta satisfied with this little brilliant performer. I hope it keeps delighting me for a very long time.

It's not everyday that a speaker is rated both the worst and the best by different professional reviewing sites! Here's the truth - it's loud, pretty much distortion-free at high volumes but clarity could have been better. Bass is lacking which can be increased a bit if you are playing lossless or high bitrate stored music through an EQ-equipped player and by placing the speaker over a hard surface to aid the bottom passive bass radiator (I use a stone slab). You'll have a lesser experience with streaming music but that's true for all audio devices as streaming is lossy. The tiny footprint (less than 6 inches long) and light weight makes it small and portable which must be regarded as pluses and comparisons with bigger, heavier and more expensive speakers is then apples and oranges. Stereo separation is absent due to proximity of the two drivers to each other but together they are loud as mentioned, at 10W. To summarise - a loud portable speaker that shines if high bitrate music is pumped through it.

I bought this after some searching. Though speaker is small , good one for a big room. Also gives good battery back up.

Too loudly and clearly vocals

They say dynamite comes in small package. DOn't be deceived by the small form factor of these speakers as they give you a good balanced sound with 2 integrated tweeter speakers and 1 bass bottom firing transducer which makes the Bass decently heard. This can be considered as a tiny upgrade from your phone speakers to portable ones which might be in par with a home 2.1 speaker setup. Except that you would be carrying this tiny monster around wherever you go. Being shower proof, you don't have to worry about water accidentally spilling on it. Has a really good battery backup and can run upto 6-6.5 hrs on a single charge. It fits in 1 hand is pretty lightweight to hold on to. Checkout the image to know it's size

Sound is not loud but sound quality is good. It is small one compare to what shown on the page. Connectivity is good. I did not face the lag so far.

Good clear sound, nice bass, and easy to connect with iPod. Speaker is solidly made and just the right size.

J'ai acheté cette enceinte il y a un an et j'en suis très très satisfaite. Le prix est très attractif face à la grande qualité de cette enceinte. Le son est super, très bon, et la batterie a une excellente autonomie, toujours aujourd'hui, et se recharge très vite. Sa forme triangulaire permet de la poser partout, sans qu'elle ne roule.

Ho acquistato questi altoparlanti per sonorizzare un PCTV (in un salotto di circa 16mq) e saltuariamente ascoltare musica in streaming col telefono: non aspettatevi prestazioni da soundbar blasonate (e costose), tuttavia viste anche le piccole dimensioni e l'eccezionale portabilità, fanno egregiamente il loro lavoro. A volumi di ascolto normali i suoni sono ben calibrati, senza fastidiosi sbilanciamenti tipici di diffusori così piccoli; i bassi, nonostante i due coni del diametro di poco più grandi di bottoni da cappotto, sono presenti e non "artefatti", mentre gli alti li trovo più brillanti ma non troppo invasivi. La cassa, sia visivamente che al tatto, risulta solida e robusta anche per via del peso, che non è elevato ma comunque consistente. C'è la doppia connessione, il classico jack 3,5mm (quello dell'auricolare dei telefonini per capirsi) con cavetto compreso nella confezione ed ovviamente il Bluetooth; nel secondo caso l'accoppiamento è stato semplicissimo e rapido, sia col pc che col telefono. Nell'uso all'aperto non ho riscontri ma l'impressione generale che ho avuto è che valgano più di quanto costano (acquistate attorno ai 25€). Sono assolutamente soddisfatto dell'acquisto che consiglio senz'altro.

After reading a number of good reviews on the OontZ 3 , I decided to try one. The price was low enough to take the risk and so I gave it a shot. When the package arrived, the box was rather small and I thought it was perhaps the wrong item because no speaker system that received such great reviews could possibly come in such a small box ! I was even more surprised when I opened the box to find the item exactly as the image portrayed in the ad and started to laugh thinking that there couldn't be so many people that believe this thing could possibly do what they said it would. I figured for the price it wasn't even worth it for me to send it back so I decided to have some fun with the little thing. Plugged in my Sony MP-3 player and fired it up as the unit did come partially charged. Instructions were easy enough to follow as the diagram clearly showed what every button and indicator light would do as well as the inputs for non wireless items and usb charging. I initially kept the volume low so as not to destroy the little thing right off but quickly discovered that increasing the volume did not bring about any distortion ! The clarity, fidelity of sound was amazing ! OK, so it wasn't as loud as the Bose but... I had it outside on my deck and my brother and I could feel the bass vibrations in the decking boards ! My wife came home while we were now "blasting" this thing and asked me to turn it down so we could speak ! She was totally blown away by what it could do and how clear it sounded. Next was to try the blue tooth side for my cell phone in the car to see how well it would perform as a hands free speaker system. Yet again it was outstanding ! This thing is so amazing sounding and SO portable, it's easier to move around than the Bose or any other player we have. It just replaced all of them because it takes up virtually no room at all... can be placed just about anywhere, even hidden from view and fill the area with great fidelity no matter what you are playing. I tested it with a variety of recordings to see if there would be any discrepencies in the sound quality. Clannad, The Doors, Motown, Jimi Hendrix, Moody Blues and many others all performing and sounding fantastic ! I use it on my patio when friends are over and can simply pickup the speaker and MP-3 player with one hand and move it to the kitchen counter.... the dining room for background music, etc... "They" say it's great for college dorms and I'm sure it is but it goes well beyond the dorm my friends ! My brother is ordering one to use with his laptop as an external monitor... again... so much more space saving than his old conventional monitor. It doesn't have a powered sub woofer but he said the bass is more than sufficient from such a tiny, portable unit ! We made comparisons to other systems... called it the working mans Bose and even made jokes that it was designed with "alien technology"... who knows ? Mebbe ? The engineers at Cambridge did a magnificent job on this one and even though it is built in China, you will NOT second guess the quality of this item ! I will be ordering a few more as gifts before someone realizes what a winner this is and the price starts to skyrocket or they become back ordered for a year due to demand !! Can I say more ?? Probably ! But I will simply end with this one closing remark.... "BUY ONE AND SEE" !
