The nib (0.3) is so smooth that it will make the TWSBI and Lamy Safari shy.Good built quality.Converted into an eyedropper and it holds a whopping 3.5 ml of inkI would probably buy two more (one in 0.5) and another one of the same nib size.It's an amazing pen which is highly underrated if you are not already into fountain pens. I wonder why it's not sold in every single Stationery shop.If this is your first fountain pen, go for it.If this is your nth fountain pen, definitely go for it :)

I was surprised how smooth it was on first try and it also depends on the type of paper that you're write on.the plastic body is not so strong. I managed to break the screw thread with a little too much force which was i wasn't expecting to happen.the Extra fine 0.3 nib writes more like a 0.5 or even 0.7 doesn't feel like a Japanese extra fine nib. The pilot fine nib seems finer

I got this Preppy in Fine 03 nib. And I have to say even it is a fine nib it's so smooth to write with. I have converted this to an eyedropper preepy. If you don't know what is an eye dropper filled pen basically it is a pen I which the pen's back barrel can be filled with ink without any converter or cartridge . It can be filled directly . I have used some plumber's tape at threads and have apllied some gel/Grease/Wax. It is a great pen for ₹350. If you want good writing experience go for it . If built quality is your priority so this is not for you . The build quality is not that great.It writes smooooth.

The pen is very light.It writes smoothly. The feedback is excellent.The cartridge supplied with the pen lasted for a month(school notes).The platinum peppy cartridges are costly.I tried Parker cartridge.There is compatibility issue still manageable.The pen is designed to support ink directly filled to the pen.(eye drops).Very much satisfied with the pen.If you like collecting fountain pens.. and u think these pens can alter your mood .. go ahead and buy.I have a collection of various fountain pens and they each has unique character and I use them according to my mood.It helps.

this pen is amazing to write with or to draw with ...great value for money

Pros: Writes well, smooth flow, looks decent, has a cap with a plastic seal in it to prevent ink from drying out.Cons: Grip section is pretty thick and short - not comfortable to grasp as it doesnt taper down for intuitive gripping, fine nib isn't really fine, more of a medium quite akin to a Lamy Fine (very disappointing), and of course, no converter. To be honest, a Cello fountain pen (at 50 Rs) would write better, with a larger cartridge, but for the tackier graphics.Wont be buying anymore these designs anymore as the grip is uncomfortable. My Lamy on the other hand is a pleasure to hold.

The platinum preppy is an excellent student fountain pen.Pros:-✓Excellent nib ( smooth with a very light and elegant feedback, excellent inkflow).✓3-in-1 filling system( cartridge, converter and eyedropper ( filling the whole body with ink)).✓ Very comfortable grip ( Really comfortable for thick fingers like I have).✓ Platinum's slip and seal mechanism actually works. Thus, the pen doesn't dry out.Cons:-✓ Light body, might feel too light and inexpensive.✓ Prone to cracking if the pen is roughly handled.✓ The converter is around Rs 900.✓ If ink gets stuck inside the inner cap then it becomes extremely difficult to clean ut out.Overall:-4/5Alternatives:-1. Click aristocrat - Rs 400-450.( Great nib, solid body, made of ABS plastic, 3-in-1 filling system).2. Pilot kakuno - Rs 1000.( Good nib with slight gentle feedback, extremely light body and has a proprietary cartridge - converter filling system).3. Pilot metropolitan - Rs 1200 to Rs 1700.( Great nib, solid metal body, midly heavy, proprietary cartridge-converter filling system).

Good to have pen with smooth pointed nib and costs Rs 350 only, unless decide to have the ink converter which is not included with the pen and will cost you Rs 849 extra.

This is not my only fountain pen but it's the one I use every day. No leaks, no ghosting and no splotches. I don't have to shake it out if it sits for a day or two. It's comfortable to use and it writes very nicely. If you're new to fountain pens, this is an affordable, quality choice.

Essa é uma caneta tinteiro que dará a você a noção de que uma caneta que tem um preço baixo (quando comparada com as outras) pode ser macia, SIM!Ela é macia e não falha. Tem uma tampa a prova de ressecamento. E cores que são maravilhosas.Já testei a 0.5 e a 0.3 (todas muito macias) logo testarei a 0.2.Recomendo para quem quer conhecer uma boa caneta, e curtir o ato de escrever.

Had been using this pen since January 2023 (it's now October 2023) and it's become my favorite fountain pen. It never dries out, it's lightweight, also it's affordably priced too. The nib i feel is very smooth, and dispenses a lot of ink when in use. I also purchased this in a medium nib and use them both regularly.For those curious about fountain pens, this is the one I would recommend without hesitation.

Great pen for line drawing prior to adding watercolour. Difficult to start ink flow, PATIENCE! Eventually the ink came through. Press the cartridge into the nib part inside the pen. Hold pen vertically, start writing and the ink starts.
