Best value for money
The thickness of the wire is pretty decent, nothing too extraordinary or bad. The reviews or comments you see that it's noisy isn't true, evey electronic equipment has some noise in it, it could be their interface or microphone or some interference with any of the above including the cable itself. PLEASE try your best to isolate all your recording equipment from any other electronic devices, especially adapters, chargers, anything through which electricity flows basically. This will provide you the best results. If you are Still facing as issue try tinkering with your gain settings. Also keep in mind any microphone other than a unidirectional Dynamic microphone can have a relatively higher noise level, which can all be avoided by taking the measures I've given above. I also see a few complaining that it's not gold plated on the connectors, it never claimed it would be, the series name is "gold series" as in quality, not literally being gold plated on the connectors. I understand high quality equipment usually has it but trust me I've used such equipment and it wares out rather quickly so don't worry about that. The clipping system is pretty decent but it could be better. You wouldn't get a better product at this price.

Hissing sound when used to connect to speakers
When I connect my BEHRINGER speaker to Mackie audio mixer using these cables, it makes hissing sound. When use shorter (2 M) cable of same brand, there is hissing noise.
