Wooden Flute Carved Wood Fife

My son absolutely loves it. It is well made & very nice looking.

I thought this would be a fun item for a joke. But it was broken when I received it. The "wood" is, literally, paper thin. I have scrapbooking paper that's sturdier.It was wrapped in paper and shipped in a paper envelope! No protection whatsoever for the poor thing. It was cracked in 3 pieces when I opened the so-called wrapping around the flute.

This item arrived broken. It is very cheaply made and so thin. It's as durable as an eggshell.Update: I got a replacement. It was much better quality. My 9 year old is able to play songs on it. It works

I am using it in a display at severalLibraries in our area. The display is in reference to our nation’s 250! anniversary. We have books - Lafayette, Washington, etc. Musical instrumentals, declarations and on and on.

I bought this as a prop for a costume, not as a functioning instrument. It did the job perfectly for me as I was able to sand down the wood to get a good base for paint. However before doing so, I tried to play and it’s not the highest quality. This is great if you don’t actually intent to play it.

Very light not good sound quality

I have this not just for collecting but for playing as well. So far, I can play “The Old Gray Mare” and “Amazing Grace”. While I am yet a novice, my 10 year old granddaughter has become interested in the fife and practices her embouchure when she thinks I’m not looking. 😄

Its a piece of bamboo with holes in it. It is not playable...was cheap so im not even going to bother with a return. Just don't sell things labeled with lies man. The description is a blatant lie..im going to practice my wood burning with it 🤷🏽‍♀️
