Tupperware Jello Mold Bowl

I was surprised when item arrived (in timely manner) that it wasn't the 'old' style tupperware mold (as pictured & like the one I've had for years); that is what I thought I was ordering. It was the 'new' style, with the lime green lid & insert, but it was hard for me to 'operate'. The lid & insert part (esp. the insert) were particularly hard to get to seal properly (for my tired old hands, at least), but when I presented it as a gift to my daughter-in-law, explaining I might have to return it for a replacement because of the lid & insert issues, she tried them and got them to seal properly, so she was satisfied with it. The 'newer' materials aren't a supple as the 'old', so maybe that is why I found it hard to work with. Hope it lasts d-i-l as long as mine has lasted me--at least over 25 years and counting.

The pictures and description of this item were very different from I expected. I expected it to hold more. The hole goes all the way through and this does not seem big enough.

I haven't used it yet but am sure it's d best because Tupperware is my mom's favorite. I just wish u have more colors.

it is nice

I love this Tupperware Jello Mold! My Grandmother & Mother each had one long before I had my own household. I received one as a wedding shower gift nearly 28 years ago and it has held up great! My daughter-in-law kept borrowing mine so I decided to buy one for her. I was happy to find one here on Amazon for a good price. She loves it and makes some wonderful molded jello salads. We often give a light spray of PAM (or it's equivalent) to the inside before we add our jello salad ingredients. It works fine without it too. All in all--this is a great classic!

It was the exact item needed and in excellent shape. It has been a long family tradition to use this mold. We had a new bride in the family and she needed a mold of her own.

A good product. Outstanding in results. I found it a bit pricey though. Tupperware tends to be expensive, still I couldn't find any other brand that could do what this product does.
