This really is the tool that answers a lot of the ‘but why?’ Questions for self learners of the language. I use it in conjunction with online courses and it will get you understanding the ‘whys’ a lot faster. I somewhat agree it’s not the best for complete beginners; however, if you have a good understanding of English grammar it’s helpful. You can use this to help you build your skills and work up to writing sentences. I think it might be easier to get something that teaches you step by step with if this is your first time learning a foreign language. It depends on the person. I got this because I’ve been studying French for 10 years and doing private lessons, and I just needed a complete book of French grammar, given all the random rules and complex verb tenses. This is amazing!!!!! There’s more topics than I could’ve imagined! I’m so glad I got this. I also got it with some French books and a dictionary, so with all of these combined I think it’ll help my skills tenfold on top of what I already have.
