Sturdy

I had ordered a set of the Yellow Mountain domino racks earlier this year for use when our family plays Mexican dominoes. I was very pleased with that set. Each rack was nicely made with a felt bottom. Since we often play with more than four players, I decided to order a second set of racks. This set came without the felt bottom. That was a detail I had really appreciated. It made the racks quiet and secure on the table. I'm not sure why there is no felt on this set. Everything else is exactly the same. A disappointment.

These racks or Domino holders are wonderful for those who need help to organize or hold their pieces up for visibility. The holders improve the game experience and helps keep the flow of the game more consistent. The wood trays are durable and the grain of wood looks nice and is very smooth. I did put a coat of polyurethane on them to protect the wood from grease and beverages that may spill. They are great for those with limited figure dexterity.

I bought these to go along with my Mexican Train game. I wanted enough for 8 players, but the seller only had one left, so I had to settle for something else to complete my set. These trays are okay but a little smaller than I thought they would be. The price was reasonable and they aren't too bulky for storage or taking along with me, along with my game, to play the game elsewhere. You can use these for Rumikub tiles, or just plain dominoes too. They are fine and serve the purpose for they are intended. The slots are 90 degree cuts so the tiles sit upright, but you can still see what's behind each. Only has 3 slots but still holds enough tiles and the slots are deep enough so the tiles don't fall over. Not sure about the educational value as requested, but they appear to be durable (made of wood), thus the rating of 5 stars. You won't be disappointed.

Très bonne qualité. S emboîte 2 par 2 pour les ranger. Au dos, il y a un petit tapis vert anti dérapant. Permet de jouer au rummikub, au domino... les rangées sont larges. Ne pas hésiter.

My wife and her sisters loves this product and said it made thier time of playing "TRAIN" much more easy and enjoyable without having to juggle all of those dominos. I recommend this product - you will not be disappointed made out of solid wood. Good product.

Estos soportes de madera para sostener fichas de dominó están muy bien hechas, el acabado es muy agradable. Quizá debieran tener cierta inclinación para que las fichas descansaran de tal manera que los puntos o los números de las fichas siempre se muestren en buen ángulo a la cara del jugador. Pero cumplen muy bien su objetivo. Tal vez el precio sea un poco caro, pero es un buen producto. Recomendable.

Muy satisfecho con la calidad del producto, resultan muy útiles para jugar al dominó, en especial para personas mayores. Son muy sólidos, con peso y fieltro en la base que resulta muy agradable. Excelente relación calidad precio
