Smiffy's Men's 50's Style Teddy Boy Flick Comb

There are two main versions of this prop switchblade. The older one is made of a cheap grade of steel and performs well generally, with a satisfying click when it snaps open.This type is sleek and handsome looking, mostly metal with a plastic grip. It opens smoothly and snaps into place effectively, but does not give the sharp click sound, but more of a dull, muted snap sound.. Visually, it is attractive and reasonably authentic looking.Definitely recommended as a Fifties Greaser accessory.

Its fun to use this with your friends and Mals them think u have a real knife but the laughter is endless when they realized it's a comb. Only downfall is tht the whole thing is plastic and isnt the best quality.

Great costume accessory. Light plastic feel. I wish it were heavy duty metal that I could use for the rest of my life! lol

Good costume hair comb. Not made too cheep , but not high end. It should last me several Halloweens, if I don't abuse it.

If you want a beard comb don’t buy this product. This is extremely poor, I thought the price was cheap for what looks like a great product, oh how I was wrong. Firstly, and the only best bit; it has a nice kick to the flick. It is so fast, quite impressive however massively dangerous, definitely NOT FOR CHILDREN. It does has a safety button which tells you how deadly this is. Secondly, It's a terrible build, I mean just awful(more like something you would use for fancy dress). Its a combination of plastic and stainless steel. The metal design is not strong, flimsy even. In places it feels like it could fall part. In your hand it feels more like a flick knife rather than a flick comb. And finally, This was purchased to comb through beard hair and works on head hair only. Do not do it through your beard; it doesn’t comb well and pulls out your hair which is really, REALLY painful. The size is also too large, wont fit in your pocket if you have any kind of skinny jean. If you are looking to comb hair with this product save your money and buy something else, if you want it for fancy dress, great, but it may not last the night and could take out your eye!

For what you pay its not bad.Comb is a little fine but its not the end of the world. I've had it for a day now and its working great, the only down side is the locking slider switch tends to slide downwards due to gravity thus preventing the mechanism from causing the comb to flick out.
