Good strings!!..but overpriced.
I normally do not prefer earnieball strings as they sound a bit thin. But this one sounds quite nice and feels quite smooth on the fingers. I love the strings but I gave 4 stars because of the price. There's nothing too special about them as opposed to the hype regarding cobalt strings. They are just good strings but over priced.

It produce great tone but it corroded with a week I will not recommended for the place where you live in a high humidity environment.

j'ai pas un haut niveau, je joue depuis 2ans, et au debut j'utilisai les cordes de la marque Ibanez, mais elles cassaient régulièrement (1/mois), puis je trouvais le son brouillon... J'ai testé celle-ci voulant un son plus cristallin (même dans l'énervé !) et je suis tombé sur le cul... Le son est précis, ça respond au poil , et ça tient ! j'attend de voir mais déjà 3mois sans soucis à bender et à attaquer :) Le must pour ma part

Ich habe diese Saiten auf meiner IBANEZ RGA32 gespielt und war von Anfang an begeistert. Warum? Saitengefühl - Sound - Stimmstabilität - Korrosionsresistenz. Ich habe den Satz seit nun 7 Monaten auf meiner IBANEZ und keinerlei spuren von Oxidation auf den Saiten. Ich empfehle sie gerne und ohne Gedanken weiter.

I used original Slinky strings for the last 20 years and I decided to try the newer cobalt version and I am really impressed by them. The sound output is louder and it is warmer than the original's. The sound quality does not drop as fast as the original's so they effectively last longer. String tension is a tad higher than the original. So you should have your guitar setup redone as it's going to mess with your neck relief and intonation. I ran into problems with 2 .009 stings (which broke instantly) and Ernie Balls were quick to help me and replace them free of charge. Great service!!! I am happy with these stings and I don't plan to go back to the originals.
