Tortoises Seem to Like: When My Torts Are Happy, I'm Happy
Although it LOOKED a little woody to me, it does the job; no flies or other "bonus" fauna either, as with some brands. Tortoises seem really happy with their bedding, and when the torts are happy, I'm happy!
