Heavy duty. It's a cultivator, not a pick maddock. Makes short work of weeding garden beds.
Nice heafty handle with cushioned grips. Works great on already tilled garden beds. Makes quick work on cleaning up heavily-weeded beds. If you're breaking fresh ground, this isn't the right tool.

Serious weeding with this baby!
This is a fine tool. Very sturdy and doesn't hurt your hands. When your garden gets out of control, you can really put some power into digging out those weeds! May 2014: Update! I've used this tool for almost 2 years now. It's still in fine shape and I still love it!

I am a new home owner and the backyard was in need of some help as it had lots of weeds. I was using these to pull them and somehow one of the forks got tangled on a root and it ended up bent! I am not that strong of a person, I am really not sure how it bent. At least it didn't break off, so I can still use it. It just isn't the quality I was expecting.

It has a terrible design flaw
What I liked is it is made of good material. WHAT I did NOT LIKE is the manufacturer used a wooden dowel to connect the fiberglass handle to the steel rake. After using for a few hours, the metal hear of the rake plus the wooden dowel fell out of the tubular fiberglass handle. The connecting wooden dowel was GLUED to the inside of the tubular fiberglass handle. I had to make a quick decision to put it back together and drill a 1/4'' hole thru the fiberglass handle with the wooden dowel inserted as it came from the factory, due to my laborer had nothing to do until I replaced it or fixed it on the spot . Dont buy this product unless you are willing to modify it on the job or send it back after it falls apart. I like the quality of the materials it is made of, just not the assembly!!!!

Nice cultivator - shorter handle might be better for us.
Good 4-tine cultivator. Only problem I have is the long handle. I seem to bonk everything, so should have ordered the one with the short handle. But this is a nice sturdy cultivator that really rips up the areas we needed it for. Be careful to not put too much pressure on it & rip up more than you intended to.

Not what they use to be
I have had these in the past the quality was great but not this time , handles split at the base for no reason totally unacceptable for the $$ spent I expected better than 4 months use

This is a real back saver!
I am quite pleased with this cultivator. The powder coating on the teeth has held up very well (bought spring of this year, used it all season), and the handle is smooth and long enough for me (5'10"). This thing really shines on crab grass and your other hard to pull weeds. Simply excavate around the weed, then stab under it and it'll pull right out.

Good solid rake.
This should hold up for a long time. I've had problems in the past with these rakes (purchased at Lowes) breaking off at the head. But this one seems really solid. I also bought a Flexrake 4440 Hula-Ho Pro Four-Prong Cultivator from Amazon, to have as an extra. Also a great quality rake.

I was expecting a standard size potato fork but this is a small head. It does actually say 5" on the description but this refers to the total width of the tines, not the socket. Lightweight & long shaft and good yellow colour so it doesn't get lost in the greenery!
