Spring Long Sleeves Mermaid Princess Dress Costume for Little Girls

This is a great costume for mermaid obsessed kids. The top is stretchy fabric and long sleeved so it kept out the cold but was breathable and easy to move around in. The bottom was actually too long for my 5.5 year old but we managed by hiking it up around her waist and letting the top part hang like a tucked-in shirt. The shoulders are a bit wide also but luckily we didn't have any incidents of it slipping of her shoulder completely. There is NO stretch in the bottom fabric though so definitely no room for long strides or big steps. Overall a cute costume and great dress up outfit for playing.

After reading other reviews I bought my 4 year old (42” and 45 lbs) a 6-7 instead of a 4-5. Now she can get more use out of it instead of just for one night.It worked perfectly for Halloween and now she can use it for dress up. It was a little long but She didn’t trip over it. The top part was a little big so I ended up using 2 safety pins in the back so that her chest area wasn’t exposed. It definitely did the trick.I wanted to get long sleeve since we live in upstate NY and it was cold for Halloween. I’m glad I bought this particular one. It has held up well. No sequence has fallen off and it is still in good shape. My friend bought a similar one off amazon that had a darker purple on top & came with accessories. Her daughters was falling apart after 1 wear.

Price was good. Fit well. Looked cute.... but DO NOT WASH IT .... no matter what. Daughter spilled on it, I washed it on delicate in a delicate bag and all the sequins fell off . You cannot read the laundering instructions on the tag anyway. I sent it back.

I bought this for my 3-year-old's Halloween costume and it was adorable. It was very tight on her but I still managed to squeeze it on and put pants on her underneath because the costume would ride up on her. Its small size didn't matter for long because this costume doesn't last long. She wore it for 3 events this Halloween season. I made the mistake of washing it after the first event and almost all the fin sequins fell off. During the second wearing, the bottom part of the fin started looking very worn even though the fin never touched the ground. Thankfully the third wearing was Halloween evening and it was dark so the poor shape of the costume didn't matter. She got a lot of compliments on the costume but I had to throw it away after 3 wearings.

This is cute as can be- but that comes for a price. Would be wonderful if there is not a lot of walking. The leg portion is slender and tough for her to walk distances. She fell several times trick or treating. But, I wouldn't want a loose mermaid tail, so I held her hand.Also the torso down was snug, but the collar area was larger and quite loose.

I bought 2 of this costume for my daughters to see Disney on Ice. For my 5 years old I got size 4/5 (120 on the tag of the outfit) she is a petit little girl and it fit her just right. For my 7 years old I got size 7/8 (140 on the tag) and it was very tight so I returned and got a size 9/10 (150 on the tag) and this fit her just right. They didn't complain about being uncomfortable, they were jumping, dancing, and moving all around. They wear the costume again the next day. I'm very happy with this purchase, everything looks great after I washed them.

It's very cute. Ordered the 4/5 for my 40lbn 40 inch 4 year old and it barely fits. She loves it but I would definitely size up - it's not very stretchy and hard to put on/pull off.

This looked amazing on my 7year old daughter for her birthday party... I think I bought a 6/7 or 6x. something like that but she is very thin and average height. I wanted to cry became her little body looked so cute in this. I am truly happy with the price and material. I had to wash it same day, it looked still intact. might of shrinked just a teensy winnsy bit but who knows if my mom left it in the dryer for too long. she tends to do that but other than that, it looked beautiful on...

I ordered two sizes up as per the comments and it still just fit my daughter. She is usually a size 3 and I ordered the size 5. It's cute on, pretty thin material- I'm not sure how I'm going to layer it for trick or treating as we live in a cold climate. The only other thing I had to do was cut some slits on the side as it was difficult for my daughter to walk in as the "tail" is tight and stretchy but not enough that she wont trip and fall.

My little girl loved this, was a perfect fit for her as she very lean so Otherwise would size up as very fitted. The only downside was that the sequins fell off everywhere and after washed it nearly all have come off!

Beautiful costume, my daughter loves it. It is however very close fitting to the skin so I was pleased I brought a size bigger than my child actually is.

It's an amazing mermaid outfit but fits Very small. I even ordered two sizes up and it's still too small. But looks beautiful.

My little one liked it. Good quality.
