Does not help my drop foot at all. Too thick and poses more of a risk as it created a tripping hazard with the thick bottom.

I have always wanted something that fits easily into shoes this does. You can also use it to walk around the house without shoes. I find it light and comfortable and easy to use.

This really doesn't work at all for drop foot. Biggest problem is that it doesn't stay in place at the bottom of the foot and bunches up. It is also too big to really fit in a shoe. Did not help much at all to keep my foot up. Unfortunately, it is past the return date for me to return it. I would not suggest this at all.

My neighbor (she and her husband are good friends of mine) hurt her foot doing aerial acrobatics. I received a call to walk her dog that night as her husband was out of town. Her friend took her to see a doctor next morning and the prognosis was she stretched or torn her ligament. Her foot was very sore and could not put weight on it. She was hopping around with the aid of a crutch. I have no idea what kind of doctor she went to see. I was surprised that the doctor did not wrap her foot. I remembered that my doctors used to wrap my foot tight using bandages when I was a kid with foot injuries (I was a very active kid). I ordered this Foot Brace hoping that would help her. She wears a size 5 shoe and the small size fits her foot. I helped her to put this foot brace on. I noticed that this brace is user friendly and can be put on easily. She told me that this Foot Brace does help to stabilize her ankle and foot. She could at least put a little weight on that foot. It has been about 4-5 days since she injured her foot and she has been wearing this foot brace as much as possible. She has more mobility because of this foot brace. She is now doing better as I can see her dragging her crutch with her in the house. She is really not using it but takes it along for security. I checked on her daily multiple times as I have doggie walking duty. This Foot Brace does work on her ankle and her injuries on the top of her foot. As far as I am concerned, I made a good choice of getting this foot brace. Footnote: - I ordered a zero-gravity boot for her to walk on if she wants to go out. However, that boot is a little more complicated to put on. She has not venture out of the house yet. So, that boot is just sitting in a corner for the time being.
