Nice book, good recipes, nice color photos
Haven’t tried any recipes yet, but I’m looking forward to it. Most recipes are coconut cream based. I’ve had this kind of ice cream before, and it is yummy

I have not made them all, but I can say the base is very easy and every recipe in the book is one that I would try.

Best non dairy ice cream cookbook
I took many vegan ice cream cookbooks out from the library and all required a lot of ingredients and preparation. Then I found this book so I bought it . This book is clear and concise with easy to find Ingredients and delicious recipes .

Excellent ice cream recipes even if your not vegan
I got this book because I was interested in non-dairy based ice creams. The recipes I made required minimal tools, and no use of a stovetop. I had to pick up a few ingredients I wouldn't have had otherwise, like agave (Note: I'm not vegan, I just love trying new and interesting ice cream recipes).I made the Mango Habanero and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough for the office (about 8 people) and it was just about gone in no time, everyone came back for seconds.I had a bit of an issue where the freezer in the office was to cold, so we had to let it thaw out a bit before it was scoop-able. My ice cream maker may not have been able to get enough air into the mixture.

You really need to like coconut milk
I made one recipe and returned the book. The base of coconut milk is much too strong for my tastes. Sometimes I make coconut ice cream but I don't want that every time. I prefer a base that's more neutral and doesn't (IMHO) overwhelm the flavors you're going for.

Lots of great easy recipes, must have book if you like ice cream!
I love FoMu ice cream. This book has a bunch of great FoMu recipes, easy instructions, and not a lot of weird ingredients. This could be the best ice cream book I've ever bought. The lavender ice cream is chilling in the freezer as I type this!

Best vegan ice cream and easy to make
We tried FoMu when we visited Boston earlier this year and were wowed by their ice cream. So I was thrilled to find this cookbook! We’ve made 3 batches so far and it’s easy to make (as opposed to heating milk and cream and tempering in eggs). Looking forward to trying more recipes.

My favorite ice cream!
This book is phenomenal, just like FoMu (the vegan ice cream shop from which these recipes originated). In particular, the blueberry shortbread and raspberry crumble are amazing (the granola is also delicious all on its own!).The recipes are well written, straightforward and the book itself is gorgeous. Love it!
