I’m a contractor and I have spent YEARS searching for a “well built, attractive , not run of the mill or on-commercial looking “ Door stop. Anything I found, or purchased ended up being a piece of junk, or average looking. Imagine my surprise when I went to my parents to look at their Renovations . There it was, THE MOST AWESOME DOOR STOP i had ever seen, located in their sitting room for the French doors! . The look and function of this door stop was exactly what I had been searching for! Here’s why I recommend this door stop: 1- IT IS VERY ATTRACTIVE & Doesn’t look like something from elementary school. 2-It’s design simplicity makes it impossible to install incorrectly. ie, no flat surface to hit door evenly 3-Installation is a breeze. 4- After I personally used at my home with a teenage boy letting my doors bang into it for weeks, THERE NOT ONE DENT OR RUBBER TRANSFER ON MY DOORS! It’s passed my personal home test which is what I require from any new items before I recommend or use in my clients homes. If you want more in-depth info keep reading, other wise the above list is the short version. ~Function / installation: Compared to the multiple door stop I’ve installed, this one is hands down the best. The floor screw is hidden in the base plate and covered once the stop is screwed onto the mounting plate. The circular shape with continuous circular rubber bumper, makes it impossible to install it incorrectly, compared to other floor mounted doorstops which generally have a”flat” side for the door to strike with a visible single screw ~Appearance 2-A very attractive sleek design means your door stop doesn’t look out of place in your home. I don’t know why it took so long for someone to create this item, but I’m thrilled they did! Compared to big home stores selections..most are generic, dome shaped, and look very commercial. 3- Your doorstop will no longer go unnoticed! Guest will actually comment on how attractive this out of the way item is...I KNOW 1st hand Because this happened multiple times at my home and my parents.. So, if your wanting a new doorstop or want to replace your current bland ones GO FOR IT! , I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS about this small little item.. but I can say, YOULL BE HAPPY WITH YOUR PURCHASE..

I love the modern twist to an old fixture. We've been using door stops in one form or another since doors were invented. It's about time they get an update. Everyone I've shown has the same reaction, "I've never seen this before!" But, they love it. It seems well made and the machining is great quality for the price. I mounted ours through a tile floor and anchored from the basement. It's not going to move at all. It's perfect and fits the look in our bathroom. I did have to buy longer screws to anchor through the floor. Yes, I tend to over engineer things but, it will last that much longer as a result.

I think this product has been in place for about a year. Connected over carpet and padding into concrete foundation. It didn’t come with the proper anchor for concrete. So I bought different options at the hardware store. And my son was able to install it for me. So far it has stood the test of time. Except for a little inconvenience, I am very happy with this product.

These door stops are really solid and sturdy. Very easy to screw down to floor. Very good quality. over all great value for the price. Nicely finished. The rubber bumper softly cushions the door when opened.

I have several rentals and have gone through several of those spring door stoppers. Either the tenants or their kids remove the stoppers and the doorknobs leave holes in the wall. These are the height I needed and look sturdy. I will update later to show how durable they are.

When installing these stops, the installer has to be extra careful in setting in-place. 12 of these had stripped threads when installing. We had to purchase a different kind. Also, when the metal door opens, it knocks the door stops loose. They are not sturdy enough for metal doors. I don't recommend buying these unless it is in a residential setting.

I have bought a number of these and really like them. They work well on doors that have a higher floor clearance to assist on air conditioning leveling. They only require one screw to mount them which is favorable when mounting them on tiles. Very sturdy and look good with it.

My shop doors have heavy duty sills that causes the doors to have a large gap at the floor. This good looking stop is made solid. Also the visibility of the stop makes it easy to avoid accidentally kicking or damaging when moving material on the floor. The installation was easy and immediately successful. There is no doubt I would get this product again.
