Shakespeare Crappie Hunter Spinning Fishing Rod

Love this rod. Using it currently with a little Zebco 33 and fish for catfish. A very relaxing way to fish, just swinging the live worm out from the rod, like using a cane pole. Expect to enjoy it for Sac-a-lait in a couple months, and bought it because a friend recommended it to me. This is not those cheap expandable lightly made fiberglass crappie poles sold all over, this one will last for years and years.I have two of them.

This thing is junk! Bought three of them for spider rigging two of the three have broke, and not at the tip, about halfway down the rod. Very poor quality. Spend a few extra and buy a decent brand!

I like Shakespeare rods, but this one just doesn't do it for me

Poles are awesome, although breakdown style, still quality for price.

got two they were great needed one more never could get one that was not broken after that so I gave up.

If I could give zero stars for this rod I would. I strongly urge you to not purchase this rod. On my third or fourth crappie fishing trip the rod snapped in two when I brought in a 11" crappie. That's right, a whopping 11 inches long and it broke my rod as I was bringing it up from the lake and onto the shore. You talk about a piece of junk. Cut a 10 foot branch off of a tree and tie a string on the end of it and it would serve you better than this.
