Perfection for garlic lovers. We heat them up in melted butter. It adds a wonderful taste and crunch to steaks, porkchops, and potatoes. It also goes really well in marinara sauce for spaghetti. It's so easy. Highly recommend.

Whomever is responsible for shipping did a horrible job as this was shipped in an envelope and not a box. As you can see one is broken but Amazon does not give an option to replace the broken bottle I am told "unable to return". I love this product and first started buying it at Costco during the Pandemic/2020. I fell in love with it, the flavor is the same as fresh, I use it in soup, garlic mash pot's everything so was thrilled to be able to find another source except I cannot continue buying on Amazon if the product comes broken and I am not able to address this and get a refund. I am very disappointed as I love this product and wish Costco still sold it. I need to add to this review as I was able to reach the seller and was refunded for the broken bottle, they were very nice and helpful and I will buy from them again as I love this product, it is as good as fresh and they stood buy the mistake and refunded the broken bottle

It's the best replacement to fresh minced garlic. Unlike garlic powder, you can smell garlic flavor from granule but similar to garlic powder, you need to add small amount of water to moisten and time to make it really flavorful. Once moisten, they're really like a fresh garlic. Very convenient and I replace these bottle every time I ran out. Highly recommended.

These freeze-dried garlic pieces are so much better than the regular dried garlic you find in the supermarket. The flavor is quite close to fresh garlic. I originally brought in a wholesale warehouse that does not sell them anymore. And I do not see them in my local supermarket. I have them on subscription to make sure I never open the kitchen cabinet and be disappointed.

It's not easy to find freeze dried garlic in stores these days and this is the first time I've used this brand. It's still best to use fresh garlic if possible, but this can be a time saver. I haven't tried cooking a meal with this on half and fresh garlic on the other to see if people could taste the difference, and I would suspect that it would be hard to do. If you don't have time to buy or chop garlic, and you don't want to use garlic in a jar as a substitute, this gives you a happy medium. Once you add water, it looks like fresh garlic. It's not exactly like fresh garlic, but it's as close as you are going to get without cutting into a clove. This has the characteristic of garlic that was cut with a sharp knife, while much of what you find in a jar looks chopped but tastes pressed. I've kept freeze dried garlic for years in the past, which makes this perfect even if you plan to use it only on occasion or as a backup when you are out of garlic.

At first I thought "Boy this is a lot of freeze dried garlic" but my family FLEW through this and I need to order more. Great for sprinkling on things when you need an intense hit of garlic but also good for using in place of fresh in recipes
