This book is the "Text book" of the Muslim Shia pratical irfan (mysticism). 1000 years of amazing advice and deep meaning as the author goes through the stations which enable one to gain nearness to God. The main problem though with this book is that it really needs a teacher and guide to explain the incredible advice and solutions. If deciding to purchase this book, make sure you have someone who can explain the hidden and inner secrets--otherwise, you may not get much out of it. It's a jewel of a book and we're lucky to have it in English but it's not your every-day do-it-yourself book.

One of the best books on Hanbali/Sufi amalgamation, with both the original Arabic and translation in English. This book is a guideline for those who seek to understand the levels of Spirituality in order to reach Allaah Almighty at the highest level.

haven't read it all yet,but it comes in arabic and english which i find super.it is an easy to read book and we'll structure. i would remend it.
