Hansi Organics Argan Oil - Sandalwood Scented 100% Organic Certified 4oz (120ml) Moisturizer and Leave-in Hair Treatment

The is a followup to my original review. For my hair, dry but undamaged, a weekly rub-in left overnight is ample. I wash my hair twice a week and the treatment holds through a second shampoo. Equally as nice, however, is its use on my skin to moisturize and as a scent. Much less expensive than perfume for every day, and if you like sandalwood, the slight lingering scent is wonderful - far preferable to overly sweet floral or spice aromas. It manages to soak right in and not leave oily residue, which mystifies me but is another plus for the product, which I shall happily buy again and again..

I'm really happy with the quality, scent and price point, of this product. I read some of the reviews that mention not liking the fragrance or that it smelled "like sawdust". I'm highly sensitive to smells, especially artificially scented things, and I can assure you that the scent is light and is true sandalwood (not a "sandalwood-like fragrance").

Oil adaquate and not too fragrant

I've been trying for several years to find haircare products that meet several criteria, all the while adjusting to a level of curly I was unaware I had. I had blow-dried my hair for years, not realizing my hair was getting curlier as I grow older. I knew it had some wave to it, and blow drying it smoothed that out. But several things had forced change in my world and I needed to simplify and streamline personal care, so I quit blow-drying. Within a month I was having ringlets when it wasn't trying to go all Rosanne RosannaDanna on me. It's fairly fine so it can go wild with little encouragement. So I had to do something.I tried gels, smoothing lotions, different creme rinses, all with the intent to limit or completely remove things like PEGs, alcohols, etc. from what I use. I was actually not searching for hair care when I stumbled upon this in Amazon, I was looking for a sandalwood scented moisturizer.This morning I washed my hair, and the only thing I put on it afterwards was this oil. My hair is dry now, and the only thing different I did was to hold it back at one point with a bandana used as a headband of sorts while doing some hardcore cleaning on a Saturday morning. My hair is long, down to mid shoulder blades and it now has ringlets in the back, for the first time EVER. My hair is very happy.I'll update this if need be over the next few days, especially if I should find negative aspects, but as it stands I am really lovin' this argan oil.Plus it smells awesome. I'm a big sandalwood fan.

I like what it does for my hair, but the scent is like sawed wood instead of sandalwood.
