DK Biography: Harry Houdini: A Photographic Story of a Life

Just what we needed for our 6th grade wax museum report. Full of great information and pictures of Harry Houdini through out his life. Kept my 6th grader entertained.

This was a gift for my husband who knows one of Houdini's relatives.

My son really enjoyed the book , he read it for the wax museum and it was a success.

These books are great for my third graders! They use these for their big biography projects and they offer tons of great info!

Love the timeline and pictures. Short chapters and easy to read.

This is well-written and would interest kids and adults alike.

I was presently supprised with this book, it seemed to condense all the suprising knowledge about houdini into a neat little pocket book. As autobiographies go it goes into quite a bit of factual depth without interpritation, presenting the facts rather than muddying the water with hypothesis about houdinis motivations or feelings about certain things. A genuinely enjoyable read.
