i bought this for my dad as a stocking filler, so he hasn’t used it yet, but it is brilliant. it’s got a good bit of weight to it and it looks really well made.

Broke after 3 months

The good thing i like about this item is that firstly it looks like a switchblade, has a green pearly grip, has a saftey lock so u dont accidently open it and has a belt clip.Now the ONLY bad part is that the comb is made of metal and the teeth on the comb are thick and shape of the teeth are all same i.e how others are rounded. This one is like a elongated rectangle. So my point to the ONLY bad part it that it tugs your beard really badly feels as though i lost half my beard with the numbing feeling

I perused the options for ages and ages because most of them looked very similar but the prices ranged from about a fiver to 4 times as much. I settled on this model in the middle of the price range, largely because the comb part isn't plastic, but stainless steel. I am a chartered production engineer, specialising in precision tooling, so when I say I was immediately impressed by the quality of this 'tool' I really mean it. This is a well-designed, well-built solid 'machine' that obviously owes something to it's distant relative (now illegal in the UK) with a knife blade. The action of opening is smooth and the safety lock works perfectly. All the main parts are metal and in fact, the only plastic is on the decorative scales (the grips on either side, usually bone, horn, wood or in this case, plastic). The comb teeth are smooth and rounded at the tips. A real value-for-money purchase that arrived exactly when promised.

Broke within days of my son receiving this. Waste of money. Avoid
