I have a brother who I have a hard time getting along with. He tends to undermine me and use small past experiences as a weapon to power past my opinions on family issues. I bought this as a gag gift. Got a lot of laughs. We both acknowledge we could use some work on our relationship - but that's a brother thing.Proverbs 17:17King James Version (KJV)17 A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

I enjoyed this book so much I bought another as a gift for someone. I truly wish I had found this book as a teen...it would have helped me understand 90 percent o f my family members...maybe helped prevent a suicide that took place had we known how to deal with the issues that took place before the suicide.

Makes me think of my relationship with my own siblings. Parents play a large part in how their children relate to each other. Healing is difficult but not impossible. You can accept your differences or remove yourself from the situation for your own sanity.

This is a great read for anyone struggling with adult sibling rivalry,I took every word to heart and I am glad to say the advice worked and as sisters we are on the road to recovery. My sisters didn't read the book, but by changing my attitude and actions and reactions their attitude changed as well. Give it a try. I call it taking the moral high ground.....

Nothing special

informative and easy to read

If you are interested in psychology and understanding relationships of any sort, then this is by far the best book you will read - ever.Don’t be fooled by the title - it leads you to think the book is just for people that have sibling issues and are trying to figure out. However, the book is jam packed with ideas, suggestions, explanations and links to theories in a way that you don’t have to be an expert to understand.I rarely give product reviews, but feel this book is so insightful I would be doing a disservice if I didn’t.I guarantee you will learn lots of things from this book.My regret is that I didn’t read this years ago!

It's just really a whole lot of stories about other people instead of giving explanations of the psychology behind this probelm
