Super Saw :-) delighted.
This one Super Little Saw :-) I am thrilled with it.I read that some people left a rather negative review for this Chainsaw - I have to admit that for the price it is it is just fantastic. My one little gripe would be that there is no oil reservoir and you need to put a squirt of oil on the chain & bar from time to time. Some said that the chain kept on loosening ! When you adjust the chain according to the manual it will stay at the correct tension.REMEMBER when cutting, the bar and chain will warm up and the chain will naturally loosen - DO NOT ADJUST THE BAR & CHAIN WHEN ITS HOT/WARM. ONLY DO IT WHEN ITS COLD. If you adjust the bar & chain when its hot the saw will not perform correctly.During and after every cut oil the bar& chain - doing so will give you ease of use. This is a great little saw for the price - well worth the money.

A big mistake...
Instructions useless - had to go on Youtube to actually work it out. There is a good video there if you're frustrated.Then... I managed to cut down 4 relatively small conifers (7 inch diameter trunks) before the blade was blunt to the point that it would not cut a branch of 3 inches diameter. I spent an hour re-sharpening/filing the blade (as per instructions and with included file) but found no real improvement. Ultimately went to Screwfix to buy a generic replacement bade of the same length, only to find it would not fit. Ultimately therefore I now have a chainsaw with a perfectly good electric motor that won't cut anything and it's impossible to replace the blade... The only good news is that it would have cost me the same amount as the purchase price to hire a chainsaw for a day![[ASIN:B01N7R6IVC KATSU 1600W 16 Inch DIY Garden Electric Chainsaw Chain Saw]

Cut down them trees (leylandii first)
Very good, plenty powerful enough to deal with most pruning tasks around the garden and ideal for cutting down leylandii trees. There are (as with most things these days) a couple of things I don't like about it;The first is having to over tighten the nuts that secure the chain cover on; if you don't the chain will rapidly come very loose. The second is the location of the 'handy' spanner in a slot on the chain cover; brilliant if you're never actually going to use the saw, but useless when you do use the saw as it easily snags on a twig and falls out (as mine has), lost in the jungle of other bits of tree. Just as well I keep an adjustable spanner in each of my toolkits.Overall better in use than a lot of petrol chainsaws I've used in the past.

Not for the faint hearted
Very good for basic diy, the instructions are useless on how to assemble it but if you use the photos on the advert it all makes sense

Excellent, good value garden chainsaw
Needed an easy to use chainsaw for a few jobs in the garden. This fit the bill perfectly and dealt with overgrown shrubs and small trees with ease. No oil needed, which was a bonus. Would recommend.

No oil or kick safety
For the price this is a good buy.It is not for an amature to use. There is no automatic chain oiling and no safety kick stop. The type of bar and chain have a tendency to kick back. For an experienced user with safety clothing and protection it maybe a useful purchase.

Timber stand clear!
Good job , easy to assemble and set the chain tension. This chainsaw does a great job but needs to be used by people with knowledge of using dangerous tools. True the instructions are not good but if you cannot decipher them and assemble it then you should not be using this tool.

They saw me coming
Regrettably I didn’t open the box which I received in May till the other day (July 14th) so unable to return. My own fault. The instructions included were very vague and seemed to be for another model. I couldn’t adjust the chain as no explanation how to do it and I’ve been using chainsaws for 20 odd years. I bought it for a small job so I wanted something cheap. It’s true what they say “you pay for what you get” which was a cheap load of rubbish. I ended up putting the bar and chain on a different on another chain saw. My advice do not buy this pay a bit extra for something better.
