Strong tart lemon flavor ...
Liked these more than I thought I would - enough that I now have them on Subscribe and Save. The cookies are soft-textured with a strong tart lemon flavor and just the right amount of sweet lemon glaze icing. Definitely, a nice treat that isn't too sweet. One or two after a meal is perfect for me. Solid 5 stars!

18 very good cookies per order; Ingredients, Nutritional info
It's not just the flavor but the texture is just right for these, with a touch of that doughiness I like in this kind of cookie. (They don't overdo it, it's not raw in the middle.)The flavor has a little richness and a satisfying sweet lemony zing. Each cookie is one ounce, a good serving size with a little milk after a filling lunch.Ingredients: Creme cake mix (sugar, enriched wheat flour [with malted barley, niacin, iron, thiamin, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid], corn starch, soybean oil, vital wheat gluten, soy flour, whey powder, salt, soy lecithin, leavening [sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate, monocalcium phosphate]), natural flavors, eggs, glycerine, cream cheese (pasteurized cultured milk and cream, stabilizers [carob bean and/or guar gum]), palm oil, canola oil, lemon flavor, glaze icing (powdered sugar, water). Contains wheat, milk, soy, eggs. Manufactured on equipment that processes peanuts and tree nuts.Per cookie: 110 calories; 4g fat, 1.5g saturated, 0 trans; 10mg cholesterol; 115mg sodium; 16g carbs, 0 fiber, 9g sugar, all added; 1g protein.Freshness date: June 1, 2019.

Delicious and soft!
I was honestly skeptical of how soft and fresh these cookies would be, but I decided to take a chance and boy am I glad that I did!First off, the shipper tried to ruin them, and very nearly did. Out of the three packages of cookies, one was bent a little and a couple of the cookies were bent or broken. But it did not break the seal or harm the cookies, and they weren't crumbled into little pieces or anything. These definitely need to be packaged carefully.Second, they taste great! I mean - really, really great! If you even slightly like iced-lemon cookies, these are REALLY GOOD.Third, I like my cookies soft and chewy. I have had hard cookies that tasted so good that I still liked them, but I would prefer a softer cookie. These did a good job of remaining soft, moist and chewy. Not so soft and chewy that they were like cookie dough, but not dry or hard at all either. On a scale of 1-5 on softness, with five being perfect, I'd give them a four.Ultimately, I'd recommend these in a heartbeat. They are outstanding cookies and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that you can get cookies this good on Amazon! The only real negative I have noticed is that they don't seem to last very long. One box of them is already gone! LOL

Good But Pricey
These lemon cookies come 6 to a pack. It's a lot of packaging for them, but I guess it's all about presentation. The cookies are soft and chewy and do have a good lemony flavor. The package says there's a glaze on top of each cookie, but I could barely see any (see image). It doesn't detract from their flavor, but it also doesn't make them look as fancy as the picture on the packaging leads you to believe. And what little glaze that is on there is just kinda clumped here and there instead of being drizzled in nice-looking lines. So the cookies themselves get an A for taste and a B for presentation, while the packaging gets an A for presentation. At $12.99 for a 3-pack, you're paying about 72 cents per cookie. For that price, they should have some quality assurance processes going on.
