Arrived Damaged
The delivery was fast and the bike looked great on arrival, but as I started to build the bike I found that bottom bracket/the bearing that the crank spins on is bad out of the box. This is the reason for the low rating, I'm still awaiting a response from the seller.

Decent but cheap product. Expect problems with the shifter and other parts.
Overall this is a decent product, which would have left me totally satisfied if it weren't for the shifter/crank-set that is currently causing me a lot of issues. This bike is really gorgeous, and the frame is solid and very light for the category. once you adjust seat height and handlebar position (you may need to purchase a differnt steam depending on your height) the bike feels very comfortable to ride. I also wanted to mention that differently from other users, I didn't have major problems with the seat: I didn't find it uncomfortable, and I got used to it after a couple of 20-mile rides. However, soon as you start riding this bike for long rides reality sink in, and you may finally understand why this a basic/entry level bike more than it's cheaper than it looks. The shifter will require to be tune-up many times, and even then it will still feel clunky and noisy. The chain will grind on the derailleur as you change gears. Sometimes the grinding won't stop even after that, and you may find yourself tightening the shifter cable often. In my case, along with all the problems discussed above, the pedals make a weird clunk/thud sound, which only gets louder as you ride.I have already visited a bike shop several times, and the service got really frustrated with this bike, admitting that they had never seen a bike with so many issues. They complained that it doesn't keep the adjustments for long and as they fix one thing another gets undone. Their verdict was that the bike is cheap and badly assembled. Ultimately, they suggested to get rid of it and buy something better, but I'm not ready to give up yet.At the moment I'm writing this the bike is looked after at another bike shop, where I went to get a second opinion. After a preemptive check-up and test ride, the techs there confirmed that the bike is rather cheap and weren't surprised that the shifter has been giving so many issues. They said that will try to tune it up the best they can and address the clunky noise problem. They added that after some troubleshooting, they might be able to find one of the possible culprits: cassette, rear derailleur, crank-set, pedals, suggesting that things might get better after changing the rear wheel.I will post an update as soon as I know more. But buyers need to know that purchasing this bike you get what you pay for, and while you may get lucky and be delivered a perfectly functioning product, you might also get a clunky and full of problems one.

Decent
I'm happy with the bike for the price. At first I was a little disappointed with the packaging and had some small scratches in the paint. The general set up was easy, even if you are not too familiar with bikes. The most difficult part was tweaking the brakes, but the brakes that come standard with the bike are of poor quality and I upgraded those right away. I still would recommend if you are interested in getting into riding and looking for a decent intro road bike.

Good Beginner Bike
At the outset, let me say I am by no means an expert bicyclist. I can ride a bike just fine, but I don't consider myself to be very knowledgeable about the quality of parts and what is considered to be an entry-level part, and what is considered to be an upgrade. I did not want to spend a huge amount of money since I was just starting bicycling, and after doing a lot of searching and reading reviews, I bought this bike for $345. Although it's a little more than I wanted to spend, compared to what it would cost at your local bike shop, I think this is a very good bargain. I have been riding this bike for about two weeks now, and decided it was time to write a review so that others could use it as a reference to make their decision. Here's a "Plain English" review of this bicycle based on my experience that I hope will be useful to someone else.I am 5'10" and the 22 inch frame fits me just fine. Shipping from Amazon was great. The bike arrived on the promised date. It looks pretty cool, almost looks like one of the $700 and upwards bike. I am not very knowledgeable about how to use tools, but despite that it was fairly easy to put the bike together. I did take it to my local bike shop to get it tuned up, cost me 65 bucks, but I think it was worth spending that money. Once tuned up, it is a pretty fun bike to ride. It is also very lightweight, and it is extremely easy for me to lift it and take it down the two flights of stairs from my apartment. Once on the road, it seems pretty sturdy, the gears shift pretty well and the bike handles well on the road. In other words, even when cars have whizzed past me at 40 miles an hour, I haven't felt the bicycle wobble. The 16 available gears are plenty in my opinion. After all, I'm not racing 20 other experienced people on the road. I still do not fully understand why some people have said the shifters are cheap, but thus far they have been extremely serviceable to me and have been quite easy to use and shift. The manual is not very helpful in terms of written explanation on how to assemble things and could be a lot better. I especially struggled with making sure the front brakes were set up properly, they kept touching the rim of the front tire, and I could not get the right adjustment going for quite a while. The cables that shift the gears were not set up correctly, so shifting gears was not initially smooth. The front tire was a little wobbly. My local bike shop got it all straightened out during the tune-up process. (This is why I said earlier that I was happy to spend the $65 to get it tuned up). The tires themselves are pretty flimsy, and once I have gotten used to my bike a little more, I fully intend to get a better set of tires. The current ones are a little too slim for comfort. Having said that, I haven't hit any potholes thus far, so I don't know how they will hold up should something like that happen. A few people in other reviews have complained about the brakes, and I fully concur with them. The brakes are not the best ones out there. If you are one of those who live on top of a hill and have to go downhill at 20-25 miles an hour, I strongly suggest getting the brakes replaced as soon as you get the bike. I mainly ride on flat roads except for going downhill from my apartment complex, and for my routes, the brakes work just fine. The seat is a little hard, but I got used to it pretty quickly. I rode for quite a while without bicycling shorts or padding, and the hard seat did not really bother me much. However, I got my bicycling shorts yesterday and rode my bike wearing them for the first time, and it did make the ride more comfortable. So if you are one of those who goes on long bicycle rides, you may consider getting a better seat. All in all, my personal opinion is the bike is well worth the money spent including the money spent for tuning it up, and is quite a fun bike to ride at a low cost. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who doesn't want to spend a couple grand on a fancy bike, and wants to just have fun riding it and getting healthier.
