Sillosocks Flapping Canada Snow Goose Decoy, Grey

We added this to our spreads this year and the motion - even in the slightest wind/breeze - gets birds to take a look. It even convinced decoy wary ducks to drop into our spread. We'll be adding a few more for next year's hunting season.

I like this decoy. We will use this next week. The decoy goes together easily after you work with it just a little. The instruction sheet needs to be simplified with improved pictures . The company is good to work with.

It makes birds commit but you need over 5 to 10 mph winds for it to work well. You can still kill birds over it if it isn't flapping though

well.....it wasn't magic. I'm not sure if helped or made the hunt.worse. No opinion here. The material is cheap and it is overpriced. Blew over twice in stiff winds. Oh well get suckered into buying because it "looks" like it will works. Probably wont hold up for another season....well see. More of a pain to store.

from all the stuff I have seen this is actually a 3.5 star item. It is as thin as it looks in the picture but it is also very easy to setup. just got mine today and set it up in about 2 min you do need a Philips screw driver to assemble.

Awesome, such realism. I recommend not using scissors to cut the wing supports as it crushes the cut ends and makes it hard to get in the tube. I on my second, and additional 3 I used a small cut off wheel on my dremmel. Fits perfectly into 1/2" gray pix electrical conduit. I have 2 at 10', 1 at 8', 1 at 6', and the last at 3'. The flexibility of the pvc really lets them move.

work as expected but wing spars are a little weak. snapped one the first time out but sillosock made good for it

I got these for my husband for his birthday and the first time he took them out in the field, he and his friend got a 2 man limit for geese and 2 mallard hens and a wood duck drake before lunch time. I am so please with these and I will be buying him more and getting some for a give away on his waterfowlers facebook page.
