Excellent backpack (for office or tactical use) for a great price!
I've only had this backpack for a short time, however I already love it!!! The build quality on it seems really tough and well-built. Having had a number of heavy duty backpacks, i feel this one is going to last - and I really put my packs through torture. But the stitching, material thickness, the plastic/poly lining all seem awesomely built on this one...and quite lightweight for the load capacity...so, you're getting a decent pack for a pretty low price! The size of the overall backpack is perfect for my needs. I needed an everyday pack for the office to fit my laptop, and myriad other items, without being too bulky. The "reduction" straps allow for squeezing the pack too; so if you aren't carrying too many items in it, it won't feel like you're walking around the street or office with a pack ready to climb mount Everest. Even though the specs state it could fit up to a 13" laptops, my 14" laptop fits perfectly. (Other reviewers noted that the backpack is slightly bigger than expected to fit more than a 13" laptop.) I haven't added any MOLLE-type attachments yet, but will do so. However the loops seem - again - well built and plenty sturdy. As far as customer support - being that I always put my packs through the ringer and I had very specific questions - I emailed them, and their president replied promptly and perfectly answered my questions. Great customer support, especially if you have the president fielding questions!! Ok, so build was great, size was great, support was awesome, price was perfect...so you might be asking if there was anything less than ideal...I won't call it a negative, but there was one unexpected: the color of the backpack. I had ordered the tan/khaki (some vendors call it "coyote brown") backpack. I usually get olive drab or black packs, but wanted to try something different this time regarding color; so went for the tan color. Well, to be honest, the pack's color is not what I would call a true tan...its almost an even mix of olive drab and tan...If you've ever seen the traditional green color that the Israeli army uses for their military uniforms, then add equal amount of tan to that, then that's the color of the bag. I don't know if this was a defect in color dye, or that was the intended tan for this vendor (and not a mistake)...But I love it!!! I personally don't see this as a problem; I see it more as happy surprise...I absolutely love this color! However, I only mention this because other buyers might be more picky about the color of their packs. i love this color enough to not remove any stars from the review of this product; I give this product a full 5 stars! If this is representative of Orca Tactical's products, then I would purchase another product from them without a doubt.

GREAT BACKPACK FOR THE PRICE! + comparison of 34L and 40L
After reading a lot of reviews and looking at customer images, I purchased both the 34L and the 40L Orca tactical backpacks to compare them. I ended up sticking with the 40L because I have a family and often times need to carry extra stuff for the kids. If I was single or often traveling solo, I would have probably stuck with the 34L because I think the size is the perfect balance between flexibility and space with portability. Also, the ability to use MOLLE attachments means you can add a lot of weight/storage as-needed rather than carrying an extra big bag all the time. PROS FOR BOTH: PRICE! As well as quality fabric, MOLLE webbing, and pretty good zippers. All zips are double zippers. The hip belt webbing is thick enough that even without padding it is pretty comfortable to wear. Design - the large storage compartment can unzip completely like a suitcase, very handy for accessing things in there. The quality is way above and beyond for the price. CONS FOR BOTH: I had to dig a bit but IMO there are two small things that make this a little less than perfect. Perfect to me is the quality of materials found in backpacks such as those sold at REI - which cost between $100-$200. These may not even be cons to some people. 1. the padding in the shoulder straps is light-duty. There is some foam in there, probably between 1/8" to 1/4" thick. I have not loaded this with a lot of weight yet but I would guess that padding would compress down under load and you would start to feel a nylon strap pressing into your shoulder. 2. The backs of these have little or no structure to them, just some of the foam padding, similar to that used in the shoulder straps. There may be a very thin layer of hard plastic in there but if so it is barely detectable. There are pockets inside and out that run parallel to the back - if one so desired I suppose you could put something in there for more rigidity. I can easily ignore these in light of the price point, but am posting just for reference. COMPARISON (see images. Tecate and Binder are for scale) While about 90% the same, there are two major differences between these packs that I could find. 1. The 34L pack has a vertical buckled strap that goes vertically down the outside of the pack. The 40L does not have this. 2. The 34L pack has a zippered pocket behind the padding that touches your back while the 40L has a pouch with a couple velcro tabs. I'm not really sure what you would use that pocket for anyway since it is going to be right against your sweaty back.

Too good for the price you pay!
Bought this backapck for my husband as a Valentine‘s day gift and I was very impressed with the quality of the bag. Since I was in the service before and know how much these can cost (an arm and a leg), I thought this was almost too good to be true. Lots of pockets, great quality, padding, and room for camel bag if needed. I liked the material and the sewing/stitching of the bag, very well made. I was even more impressed with the customer service, as I received an email from the seller shortly after purchase with a packing list. To be honest, this bag will probably never be used under extreme or rough conditions. Who am I kidding, I only got this bag so my husband can stop using my work backpack for our hiking and camping trip..but I think this bag will be a great addition to our camping equipment. Will definitely upate if our opinion of this bag change.

I did weeks of research looking for a good 30L tactical backpack to replace my old sling pack. I needed a pack for halling my required items when I go out on the trails with my RC trail/crawler rigs. I needed a smaller pack with molle and good storage capacity. so this is what I went with. I have only had it for a week and have not hit the trails with it yet, but here are my first impressions of it; The size of the overall backpack is perfect for my needs. I added 5 additioanl molle pouches that will provide me the space needed for all my support items. as you can see from the picture i went with the olive drab and added orange molle pouches. it look perfect. it will allow others to see me from a far. the back pocked is hudge and can hold a good change of close if needed. the front is also a good size and will fit all may action camera items and also holds two action camera gimbles no problem. the small upper pouch is good for you keys and phone or wallet and the fron lower pocket will hold small tools and knives or anyother trail items you need. As well as quality fabric, MOLLE webbing, and pretty good zippers. All zips are double zippers. The hip belt webbing is thick enough that even without padding it is pretty comfortable to wear. i did add my own paracord ties zipper pulls ans it only comes with a end tied paracord pull that will no doit for me. There is also a pouch at the back for a small laptop 13" or hydration bottle. maybe a 1.5l would be best. it does have velcro staps to hold up the bladder. Sewing of the seams looks to be excelelnt all straps are folded over and sewn in. Side straps allow you to since the pack tight. Molle material looks to be stron and is properly lined up for easy molle addition. Overall it is exactly the sizre i was looking for. Time will tell how it holds up but I see it lasting me for many years. the sling pack was 20L and also bought off Amazon and it was alot cheaper made and price but held up to my abuse for 3 years. I see this Orca lasting a lot longer then that.

Bought this as a pack to take in the woods. The comfort is good and quality seems excellent. My only issue is that a couple of the zippers keep slipping out. It’s frustrating but hoping that a little fix with some pliers holds up in the long run
