Perfect added benefit for beneficial bacteria.
Very pourus beneficial bacteria media. This mixed with a few other high quality media's keep my tanks very healthy. I should have bought quality media a long time ago but I was too cheap. I thought it was all the same but it's definitely not. Learning the hard way is never fun. Having different varieties of media really makes a big difference with water parameters and clarity.This media is solid. It does not fall apart or crumble. The pieces are about the size of a chapstick lid.

Fantastic purchase
I'm so happy I was able to find these ceramic rings at Amazon. I needed to replace all of the media in my freshwater aquarium filter and these were so much less than my local pet store. The rings are a bit smaller than the ones I've purchased from my local pet store in the past, but they do the job just the same. I'm so glad I checked Amazon before heading to the pet store.

Easy to use in different filters
I added these to my box filter and also to filtration in my skimmer. I used a mesh bag in the skimmer/filter and simply placed the rest in the bottom of my box filter. The water is much clearer in my pond after just a few days!

A bit smaller than expected but that's a good thing.
These Bio Rings were a little smaller than I expected which is a good thing. They fit perfectly in my Powkoo Super Double sponge filter media compartments. I am very happy with this product.

Great product.
This product works great! I use this with polyester batting and my water stays clear, my Ammonia levels stay below 1.0 ppm on my 30 gallon frestwater tank with several tetras. Easy to use.

Si eres una persona alérgica, te aconsejo que te pongas guantes, en particular a mi me dio mucha picazón en la palma de la mano después de enjuagarlas en un colador para meterla en el acuario

Expensive but great!
It's a very high quality bio media. It doesn't come in a mesh bag though. Also it's a bit overpriced! But its quality is superior to the competing products.
