Photive Hydra 2 Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker - Dual Subwoofers IPX7 Rated

Very good Bluetooth stereo speaker, I have previous Generation photive Hydra, it’s steel working almost 4 years with cristal clear sound, no issues. Photive Hydra 2 more louder and has more bass. I like this speaker!

My Hydra V1 died, and expected the V2 to be at least somewhat better. The first one I purchased wouldn't hold a charge for more than 4 hours.. in comparison I've had the V1 last through my 12 hour shifts. The replacement was DOA. Takes a charge but doesn't power on.The new design is vastly inferior to the design that the V1 had. Residue sticks to the cloth and small particles get caught in between the fibers.If you can get your hands on a new Hydra V1 I would recommend that over this.Sound quality was on par with the V1.

I got this for a friend who wanted a bluetooth speaker. He was amazed, I knew he would be I had the older version and it still amazing. Sounds amazing, and extremely durable.

Battery life doesn't last the whole day.

My wife purchased two first generation hydra photive and still works and sounds awesome. Highly recommend.

Bought this speaker for my husband for Christmas to use in the shower. He has a bad habit of “saving” things so it was finally unboxed for use during a trip to New Hampshire. Worked night one only while plugged in the charger, night two we had it at the resort pool it had been charging for hours it *almost* made it through one song, turned off and now nothing happens except the red light turning on when it’s plugged in. Waste of money I’m so disappointed as the size is perfect it feels well made and the sound quality is good for the size of it-not to mention the water resistant factor. Although it’s well made with good sound doesn’t do me any good if it won’t turn on.

My review is for the previous Hydra Model, hopefully the new one is just as good.I received my Hydra as a gift, and it's now one of my favorite possessions. I had heard bluetooth speakers before, but they sounded so bad I didn't really see the point.But with this speaker, the sound is amazing, especially for the price. Very clear, and good quality overall.I also love how water-resistant and durable this thing is. I often take to the poor, or the lake / beach for bonfires, etc. Or strap it on top of my kayak. Doesn't matter if it gets a little sand or water on it. (And I guess this model is even more waterpoof.)It can even fit snugly in a bicycle water-bottle holder.For the price, it's an amazing little speaker. Also makes a great gift for anyone who likes music, especially those who also enjoy outdoor activities.
