After watching some videos on how to disassemble my 3-gal piston pump sprayer I was successful in getting things apart. At that time I ordered this repair kit - which came in just a couple of days.Reassembly was easy - perhaps requiring about 30 minutes. And the sprayer now works as good as new.

Have a 25+ year old Solo which started to leak and failed to pump. This fixed the problem. Watched a Youtube video to learn how and followed the printed instructions. Pretty easy task. No problems.

Uses Solo backpack sprayers for six decades on the farm. Quality dropped steadily past decade. Last three backpacks failed on 2nd or 3rd use. Replaced guts with this repair kit twice on each one. Failed after 1st or 2nd use again. Plunger gasket and rings constantly fail. If it was a one-off failure might be acceptable but not six times. Plan on wasting the money to send the last twice used backpack sprayer once kit repaired to the US CEO of Solo in Virginia. Not wasting any more money on Germany. Replaced with Chapman sprayers also available on Amazon. For odd hard chemical jobs use a Chinese sprayer off Amazon which is even better than Solo. Do not buy.

This kit was a 90% fit for a 35 year old "Spraymate 2 by Sanex." The only seal missing was the o-ring/gasket for the fill-cap. I just got lucky.

The item arrived in a timely manner and was exactly as advertised. It did the job perfectly.
