AeroGarden Harvest Elite 360 - Copper

This item worked all of 15 minutes - literally 15 minutes, I kid you not - before the lights went out and never came back on. What a disappointment especially since I bought a larger model for my daughter last year and it works perfectly. I expected no less with this one. Now, full disclosure, I purchased this item back in the beginning of December to gift to my mom for the holidays. But I decided against giving it to her because she’s 85 years old and grew up in an era where you do not leave lights on because “it wastes electricity.” In retrospect, I realized it would probably drive her crazy having the grow light on for so many hours so she would probably never use it. Ok, no harm, no foul, it was pretty, I always wanted one, so I decided to keep it for myself. I finally got around to unpackaging it a few weeks ago. Set it up, turned it on, it blazed to full glory...then shortly went out, never to go back on again. So, I accept full responsibility for not firing it up right away after I decided to keep it and checking it before the return window expired. I will learn next time not to wait so long. But then, I never expected it not to work, given the good history with the one I gave my daughter. I just want to share my experience, especially since I ordered a second one, which arrived a couple of weeks ago, and THAT one arrived with no outer packaging, the box was opened, and the seed pods and instruction manual were missing. Sigh. Maybe I’m just not meant to have one of these. Anyway, that one WAS within the return window, so back it goes. If you can get one that works, like my daughter’s, these items are great. But I can’t give this one a good rating given my experience with the 2 I tried. Thanks for letting me vent!

I love that the machine reminds me of when the plants need watered and needs plant food. They look great and everything is growing well. The lights are very bright, it's a bit painful. Also, it does seem a little wasteful to use so much energy powering this machine when my home does have some natural light.

It is a nice planter. It just takes time.cthe light is very bright and I have had to delegate this to the basement because of tbe distracting brightness. It is very easy to use and maintain however er. I am waiting for the harvesr

The AeroGarden Harvest Elite 360 gives all of us a green thumbs up.I first grew the herbs that came with the AeroGarden Harvest Elite 360, then replanted them and used my AeroGarden Harvest Elite 360 to start the seeds for my garden. I just replanted hot pepper plants, brussels spouts,tomatoes, zucchini, mint for tea, more herbs. It is amazing the root systems are so strong I have had no issues with the replants.

I have the copper AeroGarden Harvest Elite 360 and it's beautiful. At least twice the display looked garbled and was only fixed by unplugging it then plugging it back in and set the clock. It also said the water was low and took 2-3 weeks till the message finally disappeared. In general I like the unit but feel they should make better selections in the types of herbs because dill is very tall and not normally pruned and it included 2 types of basil. All the pods sprouted and grew well.

The initial set up was a pain but once it’s done it’s easy. Such as setting the grow setting. It’s nice and certainly bright.

My granddaughter loves to grow things all year long so this was the perfect Christmas gift for her. We will soon have lettuce for our salads that she grew inside our home in January in MA!

Seed pods have been in water under lights for 14 days and no growth? I followed the directions but still nothing?
