1157-LED-Bulbs 2800 Lumens Extremely Bright 2057 2357 7528 BAY15D LED Bulb Used for Backup-Reverse-Light Turn-Signal-Light,Warm White (2 Pack)

I bought a motorcycle in 2013 and wasn't impressed with the single 1157 bulb for brakes. So I put in a $20 LED bulb (priced per bulb, not a pair). It was OK but a bigger difference between running and brake would have been nice. Not enough to remove it but not completely satisfied.Now it's 2019... Bought a pair of these 1157 bulbs for less than I paid for one in 2013. Installed them tonight and they look just like the old LEDs. No improvement at all.On top of that, the headlight is an H4 which is rated around 1500 lumens. I was suspect of the 2800 lumen rating on the 1157. Turns out, it is not remotely close to the headlight. I'm not saying they're lying, the lumen rating depends on the distance from the bulb. I imagine these are rated at the bulb where headlights are rated at a specific distance from the bulb. Expecting these to be as bright as two headlight bulbs is not realistic. On the up side, they won't blind people behind you when you brake so they'll still be able to see where you are.

My 1968 Ford Fairlane Torino had tail lights that were no better than a lit candle in a hurricane. In the past, I bought some LED bulbs but the polarity was always wrong and had to send them back. I ordered these.. Using them for dual function as OEM rear brake and turn. Works great!! Polarity was correct and super bright!! Good stuff!!

Product came as a 3157. This is not the same as the picture. Not a 1157. I used them in my 01 silverado brake lights. They were twice as bright. But again, not what I wanted. Make sure you understand this item will not work in an older vehicle with a 1157 base.

These bulbs installed for tail lights in a CanAm Commander UTV. They work great and reduce the current draw. The commander keeps the tail lights on whenever the switch is on and for about two minutes after the key goes off. The original bulbs draw a fair amount of wattage after the engine and key are turned off. These bulbs reduce that draw considerably.

Looks great and works great in OEM housing. Definitely brighter than stock bulbs. Fills lens with light the same as well.

One of them died after 60 days of commuting. The chip was burnt out. I hope they recognize this as bad egg and send me another but i don't know any way to contact them through Amazon.
