Overall this robe seemed to be good quality, not too heavy & not too thin, the gray was beautiful (just the color I wanted) but I had done a search for SHORT terry cotton robes & on the model it was right at her knees. She must have been 6'3" because when I tried it on, it was ankle length & the sleeves were a bit too long. I did enter my height & weight before ordering & Amazon suggested the size that I ordered. It was returned the day after I got it but had it been shorter I would have kept it. I needed the shorter length & lighter weight for packing in a suitcase without it taking up so much room. Don't let this review deter you from buying it. It really is a nice robe. It just didn't work for me.

Soft, smooth, & warm

Not a "luxury" item; feels like a rough heavy cotton right out of the package, which softened only partially after 3 washes. Size Small was way too big for 5'2" 120-pound woman. Robe is quite heavy for a bathrobe, and length goes mid-calf in size Small. May be difficult to walk in for elders or post-hip/knee surgery.

I bought this robe as a gift. As soon as I removed it from the plastic bag it came in, a shower of blue fabric specks dropped everywhere. The fabric was rough - it felt and looked like an old towel. No question at all - it's going back. I wouldn't wear and definitely wouldn't feel good about giving it as a gift.

Christmas gift for granddaughter. She loves it. She's short (5'3") so the length amost touches the ground and the sleeves are big but she loves it so that's what's important .
