The cup is good but the customer service and attitude towards customers is one of the worst I've ever encountered so I'm torn on the rating. And I use my consumerism to back my principles--so I would never feel good about supporting such a company.So the cup? Nice shape and hold drinks hot or cold pretty. But the lid is becoming discolored, and the paint is starting to chip. So good but not great anyway.

I had an issue with my order (user error) and the customer service couldn't have been better. I have had mybyta for close to a year now and the paint, despite many dishwasher cycles, is perfectly intact. I love this cup and its mission. It's easy to clean, fits everywhere, and is cute and distinctive. I highly recommend it!

I bought this as a gift for my mom, but I have one too in blue that I got from the byta website. I really like that I’m not wasting disposable cups every day and I do think I’ll use it long enough to overcome the amount of energy and petrochemicals used to produce this product (the lid is plastic).The color is awesome and we both get compliments on them all the time.It keeps hot drinks hot for a long time which is awesome. I’m a busy mom and I don’t always get to drink my coffee quickly and this keeps it warm for at least an hour. Probably two.The only thing I don’t like is the little slider thing on the lid. It hits my nose in an uncomfortable way and it is too loose so it is always sliding around. I finally figured out that the little slider is removable (I guess that’s how you’re supposed to clean it?) so I removed it and then just left it out. Now it splashes about the same way a disposable cup would, which is fine with me.Also this product didn’t come with cleaning instructions beyond “hand wash only” but I have figured out that the rubber gasket and plastic slider are removable so you can really get it clean. But I can imagine some customers not realizing that and letting their lids get preeeetttty funky.
