Have used this in the past for nutrient control. I've always been happy with Dr Tim's products!

I first discovered Dr. Tims when fighting Dinoflagellates. Now I dose 4ml of WasteAway at each monthly waterchange to keep a healthy colony of nitrifying bacteria.

I just purchased 4 more bottles. I use about 4-6 oz every 3-4 days in my 200 gal tank that has been plagued for the past 4 years with an algae problem due to built up nutrients in the live rock. This product along with my protein skimmer is doing the trick to slowly remove nutrients from the rock. Not only did I stop scrubbing my rock, but I'm noticing algae reverse itself. Corals are happy too and I believe I had 4 fish die earlier due to bad bacterial populations. One more thing, sand is clean as can be! I bought this brand because Dr. TIm explained that his strains are specific to natural reefs unlike the other ones. Open the bottle, and it doesn't stink to high heaven like some other ones. Highly recommended.

Will save you multiple water changes if applied as suggested on doses

Like the product just not sure if it works as good as stated. Adding bacteria is never a bad thing if not adding too much. Do not notice a Nitrate reduction, cleaner rock or substrate but will keep using as price point is good.

Very easy to use and it did all that it claims.

Doesn't work as advertised.....save your money and try another brand

It claims to help get rid of any "sludge", but I haven't noticed anything better than actually doing a water change.

I have only dosed twice so far but when I turned my skimmer back on it filled with a lot of skimmate. Same for my filter socks as they were full of crap in a couple of days. So yes I would recommend this product.

I like many other Dr. Tims products but this one really fell short for me. I really didn't notice any difference in the amount of waste in my tank. It is much easier to manually siphon out any waste or detritus from your aquarium. I wouldn't buy again or recommend.

I really didn't see much improvement in my tank. I have salt water tank and had some sludgey stuff on my my live rock it didn't get rid of it.
