I'm confilcted with this review because I love this bag. The leather is beautiful and smells great. The bag is very well made and feels nice to the touch. It has lots of pockets and zips and does everything I wanted it to.So why the three star review...?For some reason they have attached the buckles to the main bag with press-stud type poppers which are absolute rubbish. They are really difficult to do up and often you think they are in, pick up the bag, they unpop and it opens. Sometime's they come un-popped anyway and sometimes they refuse to do up. You can't just use the buckles, because when you pull them to do them up the poppers undo anyway. It's inconvenient and very frustrating.With any other bag I would have sent it back but I've decided to persevere with this one because the bag itself is otherwise so good.

Good quality bag, which is big enough for A4 folders. Each of the fastenings is a buckle, with a press stud behind it so it has the look of a traditional satchel with a quick fastening. All metal parts do however seem to be coated in some kind of grease which is a bit wiffy, but this just needs a quick clean and its fine. The quality of the leather is better than I expected and I think it will age well. The main body is bonded over a thicker fabric which gives a good finish and will help the bag to keep its shape. Very happy with my purchase.

I have bought two of these bags, and that is where my issues with it stem from.I bought the medium sized bag, and was fantastically happy with the purchase; if I hadn’t bought the medium instead, my review would be 5/5.The medium bag didn’t fit a laptop that was essential for my working and it was my fault for not measuring before hand (although the bag measurements for the medium bag are somewhat generous), so I bought the larger one.I was expecting a larger version of the medium bag, and when it arrived I was greeted with a big bag (which is very spacious, and if you want this for utility alone I would recommend it. Pretty sturdy as well) which was a much lighter shade and which contained an interior made of a stiff lime-colored possibly-canvas; Both of these aspects or different from the middle size which has a darker shade of leather as an exterior and an interior that is much more visually appealing (and better texture) than the canvas.These crucial changes between the sizes make me feel a little bit cheated, but the bag is still extremely useful and well crafted (Hence not a single star. Also because it is what is advertised in essence, bar the visual aspect).

Very good satchel, leather and manufacture seem of high quality and so far so good. Very pleased.

As described , quality product , competitively priced , delivered on time , will revisit supplier in future no problem
