HFS(R Hydraulic Gear Puller Wheel Bearing Pulling Separator 3 in 1 Pump Oil Tub (10 TON)

This is a great problem solving tool and can be used for a ton of different application with creativity. Just be sure to check the hydraulic fluid level when it arrives. I think mine had been left with the valve open partially and some had seeped out requiring it to be topped off. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of. Frozen brake drums, rotors, CV joint shafts etc... this tool works wonders and saves you damaging parts or your body swinging a hammer over and over.

The puller worked great and I removed two stuck car axles in minutes that I had fought for hours prior to buying the tool. The case is good storage solution that you don't get with similar products from certain import freight stores. The arms could be better as they only have one set of holes as opposed to two for a wider range of mounting, but it was nothing that I couldn't work around. The hydraulic action wasn't very smooth but it got the job done.

Purchased to help me replace my rear hub assembly on my 2009 buick enclave. After trying to get it off by brute force only, as well as a slide hammer with no success, I picked this up. I went with the 10 ton version and not the 5 ton version as I wanted to be sure of having enough pulling power to make it work. I am really glad that i did!It took almost max pulling load to pull it out, so much so that it cracked the hub assembly pulling it out! It is heavier than it looks and as such getting it all set up to work can be a little frustrating, so having an extra set of hands would be beneficial.
